Everyone has been hating on NBC's broadcast of the Olympics, and I concur. They didn't show the Men's 400 IM live. Then they give reports of the outcomes of the events and THEN show the actual events hours later. Fucking idiots. They need to do a better job of showing gold medal events live and quit fucking spoiling the results all the time.

I feel bad for her too.. but I just clocked it and it was within 1 second. Probably why they ruled it in favor of the decision.. also it's the refs call too. It almost seemed like she depended on time running out and made herself vulnerable. I would have made it go to the extra round.. that way, no controversy and the ladies would be ready for the subsequent matches. Both girls lost their next match.

I don't get what everyone is complaining about.

London is 5 to 8 hours ahead of the US. Some of the events are like at 3 in the morning pst...

Sure they could show the events live but itd be in the morning when people are asleep or at work

 

East coast can probably be shown Live, but it's like the girls gymnastics, I already know who won thanks to the interweb, but could I have seen it live on TV around 9AM... Nope, I'm stuck at work.

I enjoy being able to go home and watch how it unfolded during prime time

Also if I have time I could always goto the NBC website and watch stuff live...

Although it is hard to look at what other people have done. One being Steve Redgrave who won a gold medal in 5 straight Olympics. That gymnast that Phelps just passed. Etc...
