How many games we going to loose by a couple inches.....
But if you can't make those stops on 3rd down, this is what happens. It was a good run though.
I hope SF embarrasses GB next week.

Yeah I don't think he made it, but there wasn't a good enough camera shot to overturn it. I agree the next play would have been a QB sneak, and they probably get that. Good chance anyway.
I want to be mad about the call, but the truth of it is the Hawks had 4-5 plays in the fourth quarter where had they executed they'd have had a chance.
But I think we did really well considering all the injuries, and having Lynch back for a few games was fun to watch. We have a lot of young players and I've been told a decent amount of cap room next season - maybe 2021 will be our year.

The imaginary line of gain was off by about 12-15 inches (further) from the sideline marker. Was just a make up call for the bullshit no fumble in the first quarter! Now if it was 4th down and that happened then I would say maybe they got screwed but there was really no clear evidence of where the ball is when his helmet it first. Hawks had many failed attempts to stop us on 3rd down to force a punt.
Rodgers with a make a wish foundation kid after the game.

Probably asking him what to do against the 9ers next week... I was worried about the Hawks, but the 9ers are even a bigger worry!

True - even if we'd have won, I wasn't going to feel optimistic about SF. We lost a close game when SF had some key players out and they are back now at full strength. SF has the right recipe this year - lights out defense, strong run game and consistent passing game. Should make for some good division championship games next week.

I can’t believe Cowboys and Seahawks fans are rooting for the 49ers. This feels dirty. I felt shame for involuntarily clapping whenever the Packers made plays yesterday.
The rivalries are not as heated because the Niners have been mostly harmless for so long.
That, or everyone hates the Packers that much.

I feel like that would be a given. I looked forward to Alex Smith’s success in KC at the time.
Not sure why anyone would hate on Jimmy, the man (literally and figuratively) had a pornstar gushing over him.
I think it would just validate the trade even further for some Pats fans if he failed. I mean, Brady already won another ring since then soooo

But in all, if I can't root for the Seahawks, I have no trouble rooting for the NFC West. I enjoy the game more by rooting for our team rather than against other people's teams.

I suppose different fans feel differently, but your point about the Niners having a stretch where they were rebuilding did take the heat off a bit. Plus, its kind-of a likable team. Your biggest jerk was our beloved jerk a couple seasons ago . Right now, I dislike GB more than the 9ers because they've been more of a recent nemesis to us. Same for the Pats - very recent nemesis. So the enemy of my enemy is my friend so to speak.

Really, the animosity didn’t exist until Harbaugh fed it.
I’m mainly salty about how the Cowboys and Packers killed the 49ers for years. Especially Favre.

Hell, by all accounts the Seahawks fans I’ve met in person (even worked with a couple) were long time fans, very knowledgeable and gracious like yourself. I really don’t hate the fan base, except online.

kinda different here in Vancouver (just over the border). When I got here in 2010, I didn't see much Jerseys around town, then around the time the Seahawks started doing good, I started seeing a ton. So often, I'd see people walking around with jerseys on game days, like at the mall, yet there would a game going on... they're such big fans that they'll sport the jersey but not watch the game
If they’re like your stereotypical Lakers/Yankees/Cowboys fair weather fans, then they can pound sand.

Wow - Titans are doing exactly what they need to do. Slow the game down with long drives to keep Mahomes off the field. KC offense will get theirs, but the KC defense is going to have to that Titans offense off the field.
