NFL: 2018 Season News and Discussion Thread

Just watched the highlights from the Browns game, Mayfield looked good, even though one of his "highlights" was him fumbling the ball and a fullback picking it up and running with it. Imagine how much better Cleveland would be if Mayfield was throwing to Josh Gordon
But I was happy for Cleveland. Would have been fun game to be at.

Totally agree he will be the starter going forward, just hope he's more prepared than Johnny Football or the other assclowns they've had over the years. I saw a pic someone posted from the stadium and it was empty, hardly anyone there to witness such an amazing comeback which I think is a shame. Definitely happy for Cleveland, even though they now have a better record than the Steelers

As of this moment they are 2nd in the AFC north. When was the last time that sentence was used....
I like a good turn-around story. All those first rounders they've had over past 2-3 years will come together eventually.

Speaking of beating ass, a little off topic, but Addison' Russell's ex went off on him. Even wrote a blog

Russell should be given an opportunity to prove himself but yeah, if the allegations are true, kick him out of baseball.

Super pumped that it looks like the chiefs are finally relevant again after so much mediocrity. Alex Smith took us as far as he could and now we can finally look forward to more post season games....

I am no Mitch defender because I am still bewildered how Chicago bid against themselves and sold the farm to SF for the rights to pick him.
BUT...to compare Mitch to Masherlock is not fair right now given the former had a poor system to develop in last season and now, is learning an entire new one under Nagy. IF, now IF, Mitch goes into next season and is still this uneven, yeah...the comparison is completely valid. And FWIW, I had hoped Chicago would pick Masherlock.

Refs really fucked the Niners. Phantom OPI in the red zone, and that bs DPI.
If Jimmy is out, this season is over. He made a bad decision there, not trying to just get out of bounds. DBs not named Richard seemed to have regressed, despite expectations. No outside pass rush.

On the bright side, there were a lot of expats and even a couple of locals that were NFL fans here in Munich. Lot of Niners fans here. Chiefs, Seahawks, eagles, cowboys and Rams too.
Everybody I talked to was cool.

I think the Pats will be just fine once everyone is on the field and if their new WR can actually be a goot boi and play to his talents, yeah, Boston will be right back in it...cheating and winning.
