I agree - I think it's just slow so they are desperate for any sports theater to chew on. It's just baseball for a few more weeks.....

So there will be football on TV once again. Not that it will be very interesting or anything but at least it is back.

The one thing I hate about the NFL season starting is having to listen to all the Brady leg humpers again....... Pack is predicted 16-0 this year. I highly doubt it will happen but if it does it does, good for them! Should be a good year, hopefully we stay healthy.

I'm so glad there is football now, but I really do hate preseason.

Anyone else think TO's induction drama was pretty classless? He said he had an important point to make, and basically went on to whine about not being inducted fast enough or maybe there was some drama with the voters. Maybe he just wanted more attention (shocking).

Yeah, typical attention whoring by TO, nothing new. The fact that he skipped his induction to throw himself a party says it all

I thought the whole thing was petty. From how long it took them to vote for him to omitting him from the ceremony, Canton wasn’t an example of grace or humility either.

Both sides were petty. The NFL put this on themselves not voting him in last yr

Art Monk, retiree 1995, HOF 2008, nothing but class when he did it.

Who? Art Monk is no where near TO, and Jerry Kramer waited 50 years. The point still stands that their reaction to TO's snub was just as petty has his reaction to their snub.

Was TO really not invited to the ceremony? I thought he didn't go on his own accord.

When he made it public that he wasn’t attending The HoF omitted him entirely from the ceremony. His induction officially consists of the vote and nothing else, not even a public acknowledgement with his classmates.

Its really sad that teams have to cheat these days. I expect no less than a 4 game suspension for this tom foolery. The integrity of the game is at stake

I knew you'd be all over this, NFL has already said it was a manufacturing flaw. We don't have an equipment guy named "The Deflator" and I haven't seen any video of anyone going into a room on their way to the field to deflate footballs. Our QB's throw normal footballs

Your boyfriend set the bar high..oh the integrity.

In the AFC Championship Game in January of 2015, the NFL concluded that the Patriots had used a deflated football. After a lengthy investigation, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was given a four-game suspension and the Patriots were docked two draft picks and fined $1 million. Whether the NFL would pour similar resources into investigating a deflated football thrown by a backup quarterback in a preseason game remains to be seen.

If they're cheating to win a preseason game I can't imagine what they'll do in the regular season

Reading that Brady gets a bit hyper-sensitive when you talk about his trainer. Just a bit.

Hope they have a Dad-Son relationship like Wil Ferrell and John Lithgow in Daddy's Home 2.
