Key play the stick on Cooks. Cooks wanted to do something fancy which lead him to become a target and knocked himself out of the game.
And that fumble was huge. A good point that CC made was that the Eagles D-line was much deeper than the Falcons' and they weren't going to burn out. You could see that at the end of the game, the D-line was finally catching up to Brady.
Also why did they bench Malcolm Butler?
Oh and my top 5 commercials in no order:
- Doritos
- Australia
- Amazon
- Tide
- Eli/OBJ

Congrats to Philly, they won that game. My brain is still mush so I'll just write some initial thoughts and come back to it when I'm a functional human
- No blame on Brady. He played his balls off. Hard to win after giving up 41
- Eagles 10-16 on third down was the killer
- I'm ok with the "catch rule" TDs but it only made the rule more confusing.
- Cant complain about injuries when the Eagles have just as many, but we definitely missed Edleman,Cooks,Mitchell,Hightower.
- No idea why Butler didnt play. I've been radio silent since the game started so I'm clueless on that

That dude should be fined, and he should have been ejected from the game.

That was his shoulder and also look at his arms after the hit, he was pushing outwards. Solid hit. Should have been watching his surroundings a little better.

The eagle clearly planted his helmet into the side of the receiver's head

I think it was an unfortunate hit - probably the kind of hit that rules won't prevent. But as a WR, if you decide to basically halt your forward progress to run laterally, you are asking for a big hit. He was locked in on the defender in front of him and lost situational awareness. He didn't deserve to be knocked out of course, but I think he did make a very poor choice.

It's the responsibility of the tackler to make the hit. Jenkins knows to move his head to the side of the target. He lined up an unaware ball carrier and unloaded with his helmet to the side of the receiver's head.

Defenders get hit too. This looks like a guy who is preparing for contact and leading with his shoulder, not targeting the opponent’s helmet. The biggest issue here is that Cook has no idea he is about to get hit and can’t prepare.

When the trophy was being walked to the presentation, I could've sworn the little was Kevin Hart jumping up and down and being blocked by the burly security guard...I guess that WAS him...and he was denied getting to the podium.

So I'm left with a few conclusions here....
1. People in Philly have a weird thing for light poles. A really, really weird thing.
2. People in Philly hate Tom Brady. Really, really hate.
3. It's not called "stage diving" if you are not jumping from a stage. Leaping from a light pole or awning and hoping a drunk crowd catches you is something else entirely. Begins with "Darwin award" and ends in "nominee".
4. A 40 counts as a dowry in Philly.
5. People in Philly will tip over anything.

I'm starting to think maybe Eagles fans didn't deserve this win after all
I guess I have a different perspective since I don't personally know or even see any of their fans around here. I knew they were assholes, but jeez.
I've never been so drunk that I started destroying things, not even when I was teenager
