True, and I'm mostly poking fun.

It's just a tad amusing because in most cities you have to go looking for trouble. Las Vegas pretty much brands itself as, "Come here for trouble and not have anyone know!" Wonder how many uses for, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" people will come up with. Or, "Betting it all on 4 black".

But if I was a player I'd like it. Low cost of living, cheap to fly in and out, lots of entertainment for those big paychecks.

So now ref will be sliding through pictures and trying to rewind videos on a tablet that only work half the time? What happens during the rain or in -10 weather. Are refs going to be huddling around each other so he can see the video without any glare from the sun?

Broadcaster 1 " There seems to be some type of buffering issue"
Broadcaster 2 " Yes I know that feeling"
Broadcaster 1 " HAHAHAHAHA yes you do Jim"

GTFO with that shit

Looks like the officials get the final call on replay - relying on tablets as the single source is stupid for all the reasons mentioned.

I wonder how they are going to allow more celebrating but draw the line at "over the top" celebrating. I think it would be much easier to just give them like 4-5 seconds to celebrate - anything longer or anything that uses a prop is over the top.

I'm not clicking that link, but even despite whatever is in there, the biggest knock on Cutler is that he doesn't believe in vaccinating.

I'm much more upset about him not believing in that than I ever was with Kaepernick kneeling.

Raiders fans are going to vandalize Levi's in the span of 2-years, I guarantee it. If they end up playing home games there, that is.

It's not going to be their permanent home, so who cares, right?

Raider will stay in O.co, they still have two one year leases.

I think they're options, right?

The article I read said the Vice President of Officiating in New York will make all of the replay decisions. He will be in communication with the refs, accepting their input, but he has final say. At least that's from the source I read. No word yet on what happens when 9 games are going simultaneously and coincidentally need a replay at the same time.

Does anyone have a source that contradicts that?

Not sure, I usually sync the radio with CBS broadcasts anyway, but I can't imagine Romo being very good at commentary.

Romo: "He shouldn't have stayed in the pocket and tried to make the play, he should have went down, that's what I would have done"

America: No, you would have been snapped in half and carted off the field

The article I read said his interest in retirement increased after playing a golf tournament last week.

No, teams didn't want to trade and would rather bid for him in free agency. Houston was a leading contender for him. ESPN said there was a robust market for him.

Yeah, I would find it hard to believe no one would bring him on when RGIII, Dirty Sanchez and Blaine Gabbert were starters last year. There aren't 32 high-caliber QBs in the world any given year, and surprisingly Romo's stats put him in the top 50%.

I think that 15 years in the NFL took a toll on him and his injuries made it a no brainer for him to retire. Good to see him in booth and not on a golf course chilling.

Surprisingly because the guy gets shitted on. Meanwhile his stats are arguably HoFer. Cowboys are the Yankees of football but less winning. Magnifying glass over them.

Yeah I'm starting to see a trend where NFL players are like fuck this, let me get that contract and when that's up transition into a nice career and get out before really fucking shit up.

He's right at the borderline to me. Really great stats, but never won it all. Not quite as good, but similar to Marino.

No HOF because muh championships

Romo was almost solely keeping crappy Cowboys teams in the hunt for the playoffs for years. He could have done slightly better come playoff time, but his choker label was pretty unfair.

We all know rings are the most important stat
