Pats: Great offense / overall good but sometimes sketchy defense
Seahawks: Great defense / overall good but sometimes sketchy offense
Either can easily win super bowl

The Pats and Seahawks are the same team with the same problems but just on opposite sides of the ball.

It's not out of the question this year, that's for sure.

Yeah, Dallas vs Oak would be the fashionable choice for the NFL. I'm still down for the heart stoppage though.

Yummy, the Bears almost beat us last sunday. Man I was cursing so much at the TV in the 4th quarter. Im so glad we cut Parrish Cox, dude has been a fucking joke in coverage this year.
Im excited for the Titans though, bye week this week but Houston plays GB on Sunday and GB is starting to click. Im not even the least bit worried about the Colts even though they beat us twice this year, both tough games too I just dont see them doing much at all.
The Titans season will come down to the next 2 games against Denver and KC, if we could split those that would be sweet. Our last 2 games are vs Jags and week 17 we are at home vs Houston

Anyways, I'm expecting another big-time shakeup maybe at GM and Coach?
Now that the Cubs have won, I think the true laughing-stock team in Chicago are the Bears.

If Da Bears are gonna beat your team, consider it an insult. Given the injuries and the ineptitude this year, they SHOULD be the "class" of the NFL in awful.

As a Niners fan I can't possibly be any more insulted than I have been by this team's ownership and front office.

^ Interesting. Were you expecting the niners to be even close to contending for anything this year or for the next 5 years minimum really?
They had their chance a few years back. Couldn't get past the Giants in the NFC Championship game (what a game that was too) And then fell short vs Ravens in the Superbowl (also a very good game)

Nothing is surprising for me anymore, I take glancing blows regarding this team with a slight frown and a shrug nowadays. Navorro Bowman, Achilles tear, right before my birthdaty? Oh well, we're still going to finish 4-12 anyway (that looks optimistic, now).
I knew the instant that Harbaugh was fired that we were doomed. I knew about the undermining schemes and behind the scenes politics between the owner, GM, and head coach.
I've already endured almost the lowest low (eight consecutive losing seasons) and brought up to the highest high (one score away from a SB win) then crashed down again. I think my brain is just kicking in whatever defense mechanism it can to maintain sanity. Whatever I can celebrate, I will, otherwise crushing disappointment is nothing I experience anymore. I am selectively desensitized.

^ Dude...try being a Bengals fan!
Speaking of that, Marvin is gone at the end of this year. If not there will be riots. Not only does his head coaching skills suck, but judging by his past few drafts I'm not sure he's a good talent evaluator anymore.

I'm currently tied for 3rd in one of my fantasy leagues, and in a three-way tie for 1st in the other (5 game winning streak!). I've assembled two very solid teams and have confidence I can win both leagues. $20 and $50 buy-in for these leagues...10 teams each.

During the 49ers all-too-brief upswing, I felt sort of bad for my loyal Raiders fan friends, even despite their smack talk. I didn't instigate or kick them while they were down... well maybe on the rare occasion. 13 consecutive losing seasons is too much for any fan.
Now they're a potential a SB team... screw all of those assholes

Kap seems to have drawn the ire of Da Coach and his kneel-down of the anthem...At least we have that side-show circus drama to watch.

Yeah the '90s Bengals were pretty awful.

The good thing to remember is that all teams that have downswings eventually have an upswing, brief or not! Besides the Browns of course
I'm happy for the Raiders. I really liked those 90's / early 2000s teams when I had nothing else to like.

Umm you were just in the Super Bowl in 2006! That's like yesterday in sports history!

The only one I give any leniency to is Ki-Jana since he was a bad luck brutal injury...the rest are garbage.
I still wear my vintage Carter jersey to games and get some interesting looks and comments

I mean, ask the 1994 Chargers. I bet their fans are still mad about it and haven't forgotten
to the 49ers, still the only team to win 5 SBs or more without a single loss

We might have a QB controversy brewing in Cleveland. The winner (or is that loser?) gets to start and get sacked 6 times and has a 50/50 chance of being injured because of a worthless O-line.
Hey, if you are a Browns fan you just have to laugh. It is part of life. I compensate by being an Ohio State Fan so I have one winning team to root for. This year the Buckeyes might be the best football team in Ohio. They would definitely take the Browns. With college rules and officials I would give them a decent chance of taking the Bengals too.
