Manning...just look at his come-from-behind victory against the Texans!
No denying that Flip-Flavre is having a great season...but, there is no denying that the Dikings (SUCK!!) have a good line-up. The fact that he can stand behind his o-line all week and not get pressured much to find a receiver...it's one of the reasons why his INT count is so low this year.
Give him Chicago's. He'll be probably tied with Cutler for INT count.

What Would Don Draper Do?
i dunno if the vikings were a crappy team. they weren't great, but i dunno if they're crappy. seemed like they were just one stable QB away last season.

Minny is far from a -team. I mean, they ARE a team...but, not in player quality. They have a fantastic defense to go with that offence. And oh, they have arguably one of the top RBs in the game in Adrian Peterson.

glad to see my saints getting some national recognition. i like how the poll they showed in the first half had 46 out of 50 states picking brady to be a "game winner" type of quarterback only to be picked apart later in the game.
its easy to shout "manning" or "brady!"
when mvp discussion comes up every year.
but the numbers dont lie, and if its down to QB's.. Brees is without question playing the best football and is the biggest assett to his team. im trying my best to not be biased and give my honest opinion. its just that i get to see the games every week and you guys only see when its on ESPN or CBS etc. hes playing as if he doesnt know how to lose.
now C. johnson on the other hand is not a QB, and is playing freakishly right now.
oh yea, GO SAINTS! 11-0

not only that, favre is playing arguably the best ball of his career.
but meh, im used to hearing about players on the colts and patriots and any other team who is consistantly good.
same goes for some of our WR's and RB's... horribly underrated...
reason?... because we have so many people to turn to that not one individual sees astronomical numbers b/c they share the ball with 10 or more players a game.
i'd stack pierre thomas or mike bell against any backs in the league... they just dont get the recognictions b/c they split rushing stats 3 ways. likewise for our recievers... and i wouldnt have it any other way.
the more underrated the better...

The stats are really close for MVP that they're almost a wash except RB but I doubt they'll give it to Johnson if they don't make the playoffs. I'll wait a month before sending my vote to the NFL.

Chiefs to retire Thomas's No. 58
From CNNSI...
The late Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Thomas will be the 10th player in Kansas City Chiefs history to have his number retired.
The Chiefs will retire No. 58 on Sunday during halftime of their game with the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.
Thomas had completed his 11th NFL season when he died in February 2000 following a crash a month earlier. The nine-time Pro Bowl selection had a franchise-record 126 1/2 career sacks, including an NFL-record seven sacks in one game.
Thomas was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August. Representatives of the Hall will make a special presentation to the Thomas family Sunday.
