Drifting
He made a nice move and finished, good for him. But he got way too happy and comes down on defense and elbows shaq like he is a big time player now. Shaq set him straight.

but still it mustve boosted bynums ego, i mean you figure this kid is 18, probaly nervous as hel to be on the court then makes a decent play and gets around shaq, give the noob some credit

it showed that he ain't no pussy ass bitch (kawme brown), when shaq dunked all over him he didn't back down he got pissed and got even. I respect that especially from an 18 year old.

I think that dude should get his ass dropped just from wasting everyone's time with that stupid ass lawsuit. So what if Davis got the story wrong, or called him a drunk. Be a fucking man and get over it. It was an altercation/argument/difference of opinion and nothing more. This dude isn't even a celebrity or anyone the public would give a fuck about, so who cares if his name got a little dirt. Noone knew him until now and noone will remember him a year from now. It's almost arrogant for him to file a lawsuit.

antonio davis is president of the nba players association. he should have known better than to go into the stands. he deserves the suspension and to lose the lawsuit.

i think both davis and his wife deserve to lose the lawsuit, simply because the fan said if davis apologizes, then he would drop the lawsuit altogether. it seems to me that davis knows he is wrong, but feels that since he is a celebrity, he can get away with what he did without consequences.
the davis family is in the wrong. if he can't be man enough to see that and man enough to see a simple apology would bring an end to this, he deserves to lose.
on top of all that, he is the president of the nba player's association. he should be setting an example for everyone else.

so he deserves to lose because of his status as nbapa president, his unwillingness to apologize, and because he touched the fan?
He deserved the suspension, maybe a harsher one, but a lawsuit??? what a bunch of crap.

i think you are missing the point. the lawsuit is not about him leaving the court.
it is about his wife standing in front of another fan, touching the fan (that is battery no matter how you see it), having the fan thrown out of the arena, then going on national television saying that the fan was drunk, and touching his wife. that very night, the media was portraying that fan as a douchebag. that's not cool. did you see the video? that guy has every right to be pissed and to sue.
i think the davis family is wrong. plus all they have to do is apologize and it's over.
his wife should have expected things to be yelled about her husband. he is the visiting team, people yell shit all the time. if she didn't like it, she should have called security, not trued to handle it herself.

so now he should lose the lawsuit because his wife touched the guy, and they have a difference of opinion about who instigated what and who was at fault? Still frivilous, sure he has every right to sue, but so does every other crybaby in America.

the fan did the right thing by staying in his seat, not touching anyone, and calling for security. the wife did the wrong thing. thank god the fan wasn't drunk, or it might have gotten really ugly.
why do you think he should win?

my original response was to lowpost's comments, but i think antonio davis' wife is the cause of all this. if she had stayed in her seat, none of this would have happened. the man was embarrased enough by getting kicked out of the arena, then his face gets splashed across tvs and newspapers, after the davises refer to him as the drunk fan that started something.
so i don't think the lawsuit is as much about the incident, as it is about what happened to the man's character and reputation from the accusations after the incident. and i think the man deserves something....at the very least an apology.
kendra davis is no angel:

Davis also defended his wife, who once got into a heated verbal exchange with Latrell Sprewell. "We've had other situations, but it's never come to this point," he said. "I don't think she's done anything wrong."
Toronto Sun columnist Steve Simmons said Kendra Davis left rambling, obscenity-peppered voice mails when she disliked his stories.
if i was antonio davis i would have went into the crowd and smacked the shit outa my wife for starting it in the first place.

This is not about who is right or wrong - I personally don;t care who's right or wrong amd I never said that anyone was in the right or wrong.. This is about an unforntinate incident that does not warrant a lawsuit, unless you are just trying to take advantage of someone else's celebrity status and earnings to get some dollars into yuor own pocket.

LeBron James' mom charged with drunken driving

AKRON, Ohio -- The mother of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has been arrested for driving while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and other charges, police said.
Gloria James, 37, of suburban Green, was pulled over Friday night by two off-duty officers, said Akron Police Lt. Rick Edwards.
They were working security for the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority in an unmarked car when they spotted James, who was alone in the 2004 Cadillac Escalade, he said.
The officers say James' car "almost hit" the housing authority car, Edwards said.
"She starts weaving in and out of traffic and passing people on the right," he said.
The officers said James smelled of alcohol and she appeared to be disoriented, Edwards said. She struggled with police as they attempted to put handcuffs on her. They put her in the back seat of the housing authority car and she kicked out a window, Edwards said.
James was taken to a police station, where she refused to take breath or sobriety tests, Edwards said.
She posted a $2,500 bond and was released.
She was charged with reckless operation, speeding for driving 50 mph in a 30-mph zone, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and damaging police equipment.
LeBron James, in Salt Lake City for a game against the Utah Jazz, declined to comment.
"I don't have all the info of what's going on," he said. "Once I find that out and once I sit down with my family, you know, I'll be able to comment on it a little bit better."
