That's a good point, too. I would only bring him in sparingly, off the bench, to provide a little boost - at least at first. I mean hell, they've lost so many players to begin with - Shane Larkin being the latest - that they are going with a very small rotation right now. Keep starting who they're starting, but just occasionally sub him in when they would normally sub in Marcus Morris or Semi Ojeleye. That kind of thing.

For some players, a basketball game can be a blur, and it takes watching film to fully grasp what went right or wrong.
That doesn’t apply to LeBron James, apparently.
After the Cavs’ 108-83 loss to the Celtics in Sunday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, LeBron was asked what went wrong at the start of the fourth quarter. Cleveland had cut the deficit to 14 points and seemingly had the momentum before the Celtics broke the game open once again.
LeBron remembered all of it … in near-perfect detail.
I mean, whoa. That was basically a play-by-play and it generated applause in the press room.
LeBron’s memory of the Cavs’ awful fourth quarter is very good.

LeBron said:“What happened? We ran them, the first possession, we ran ’em down all the way to 2 on the shot clock. Marcus Morris missed a jump shot, followed it up. They got a dunk. We came back down. We ran a set for Jordan Clarkson. And he came off and missed it. They rebounded it. And we came back on the defensive end, and we got a stop. They took it out on the sideline. Jayson Tatum took the ball out, threw it to Marcus Smart in the short corner. He made a 3. We come back down, miss another shot. And then, Tatum came down, went 94 feet, did a Euro step and made a right-hand layup. Timeout. There you go.”

I looked at their last few box scores and they're not or barely using Clarkson, Nance Jr, and Hood who were supposed to replace the bench depth they had acquired last offseason. It's pretty much the 5 starters who need to score. Usually teams go 8 deep for the playoffs but only Lebron and Love have showed up.

We tuned in towards the end of the 1st quarter. LeBron had like 20 points and was scoring at will. Then he sat down on the scorer's table and looked completely gassed. I told my wife, "He looks tired... he's given it everything he's got and they're only up by (I think) 4. They're screwed."

Yeah tonight will be big. If Cleveland can do that again, I feel like this series will go 7. If Boston can do what they did to the Sixers in the confetti game then I say they wrap it up when they go home for Game 5.

Funds being raised to build statue of LeBron James in hometown | NBA.com
Why?? They will just tear it down when he leaves again. Even though they say they won't build it til he retires. Where does the donation money go to if he doesn't retire a Cav?

So far in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Celtics have won their 2 home games by a total of 38 points, and the Cavs have won their 2 by a total of 39. This is why regular-season record matters...

Thank goodness the Rockets won...not that I care too much who takes that series but I just WANT a competitive 7 games from both teams.

As far as the three Texas teams go, the Rockets take the neutral spot for me. I’ve never really rooted for or against them, but I would really like to see them beat GS.
That said, where the fuck is Durant?

Houston had a good gameplay in the first; create foul trouble by attacking the basket. Then they decide to play All-Star weekend with GSW in the 3rd (which is arguably, the best quarter where their shooting gets hot) for a 3-point shootout. That was so stupid to watch them keep chucking over 20 missed 3s and go away from Capella.
BTW, I thought the Hack-A-Shaq rule was changed for this season?

Celts completely choked down the stretch... nobody could hit the broad side of a barn.
Also a shame that Tatum finished one point shy of Kareem's rookie playoff scoring record. One more bucket and he would have had it. Or, you know, if they had advanced LOL. Oh well.

Celtic's were beat by inexperience. The last 5 or so minutes of the game there was no leadership and it slipped away. What they accomplished with the injuries and experience level was pretty good. They will be hard to beat in the years to come if they manage to stay healthy.
