NBA: 2017 Season News and Discussion Thread

Does LeBron get his crown back? Are the Warriors repeating? Do the Celtics knock off the Cavs as beast of the East. Are these West superteams going to be as fun as they sound? Tomorrow night season opens

Its Warriors all the way. No parody in the NBA. Wish Lebron would get another ring, but it won't be this year. All hail the warriors

The Celtics got better, but so did the Cavs. Having Kyrie play his first game as a Celtic in Cleveland is straight out a movie

Agreed. I just wish he didn't go to Boston. Even after all the years living there, can't stand Ainge or the Green (no offense to you as a local). Go pats.

doesnt bother me at all. I know a lot of people, mostly outside of Boston, who still hate Ainge with a passion because of the type of player he was.

I do have to give him some credit for making basketball decisions with his head instead of his heart. Most GMs are scared to move on from certain players

Although Kawhi is the MVP favorite, most publications have KD as the superior player. Both are phenomenal

I think Kyrie didn't want to be this era's Scottie Pippen. I think he wanted to see what he could do on his own. No matter what, he'd always be in LeBron's shadow unless he waited 5 years or so.

I agree that KD is the better player, but Kawhi is more valuable to his team.

Mirotic has a broken face courtesy of Portis.

And yeah... @ Hayward's injury. OUCH. Season-ending...hopefully he can recover from this. That's...gruesome.

Sad in more ways than one. Hayward was on his road to potential superstardom but that's delayed and hopefully he recovers just fine. Plus the C's chance of beating the Cavs ended so you feel for their fans.

Good win by the Rockets. Warriors almost got it but KD's shot was a millisecond late.

Geebus...just read the Bulls' insider info on the stupidity in management and how the Portis/Mirotic fiasco unfolded.

Gar has to go.

Thought you guys might enjoy these; a client of ours works for GSW organization and brought his rings in to share. Not even close to a fan, but respect and admiration is due to see such rare pieces of sports history. Gorgeous rings.

In my book Clev is 1-0 against GS. The 2nd matchup was the only legit one

I don't know whats wrong with me.

I liked Lebron when he initially played for Cle..... Then he went to Miami and I was like I hate his ass.... Now, I like that he's playing for Cle again...

I'm so tired of the fucking Kings though. Living in Sacramento sucks with a shitty team. They should have moved, I hate them anyways.

Stupid city begged them to stay, raised our taxes to support the stupid nonsense arena. Getting a new arena will not make you play any better.

LOVED him in Miami. I am a huge Riley fan .
I respect and love him that he’s back in CLe
i would love to see him win another ring before he hangs it up. Not sure if it will happen with GSW juggernaut

we went up and saw a few kings game when Peja and white chocoate was there

kevin Johnson is a dumb mayor

I didn't lose respect him for leaving the Heat, just how he slighted Arison and Riley and disrespected them at a meeting by ignoring them and watching a World Cup game. Our mgmt did nothing but pull out the red carpet for him. Sadly with Bosh's disease and Wade getting old, we probably weren't getting any more rings but at least Lebron gets you to the Finals every year. It was a genius move and genius marketing to his image even though everyone in Miami knew he just wanted to play for a team where he had final say instead of an executive.

I don't care about Arison.

I worship at the mosque of Riley. I do agree I didn't like the way he treated Riley. But then again, with Wade/Bosh as you said, he did what he had to do. I wish he did it differently, but I don't concern myself about that part too much.
