Yeah, didn't think so. And so, would AlwaysaboutMElo do well anywhere with him hogging the ball and shots? Like, if the buzz is true that Houston wants him, good grief, Beardpapa and his minions will strangle the guy before the first game is over.

Old Melo is the complete opposite of defense, let alone his offense....

That didnt take long.
NBA newsmaker and famous recluse LaVar Ball emerged back into public view recently to offer comment on a few issues. And the world paid rapt attention to the mercurial genius in the same way it does when Daniel Day-Lewis acts in a movie. It's a special event whenever a microphone appears in front of the Ball patriarch's mouth. It happens so rarely that it must be savored.
Ball confirmed something we should have already known: that he believes he could have beaten LeBron James in a game of one-on-one back when he was in better shape. His main argument? That he was a stronger, more impressive physical specimen than James.
When pressed if there's any video evidence to back this claim up, Ball said he didn't need any because the proof is all in his head.
Very revealing statement right there. Unintentional self-awareness.

As word of the trade circulated the NBA social media atmosphere early this morning, DeRozan took to Instagram and posted a story there that read: "Be told one thing & the outcome another. Ain't no loyalty in this game. Sell you out for a quick bit of nothing ... Soon you'll understand ... Don't disturb."
1, Kawhi is not going to stay. Toronto aint got another West Brooke. They dont even have DeRozen now.
2. They really pissed off both star players.... good luck to Spurs and Toronto with that.
3. Toronto will lose both Derozen and Kawhi after next year.... so why??
This is so stupid.

It's a crazy all-in move and while, I'm no Wapter fan, I am impressed at the balls they had to make this work. Superstar players -- and Kawaii piano is one of them -- do not grow on trees. While DeSaturn DeTulip is an all-star, he is not a superstar. Difference.
I think Mike Lawwwwree will be an okay side-kick for Kwahaptor.

I think the Waptors' gamble here is that Kawhaptor will have a change of heart like George did and stay with the team that acquired him. They have 1 year to change his mind. While the socialist Canada has an oppressive taxation program, he will be still handsomely paid AND have an entire country's devotion if he embraces it. That's something he can't get in LeLaker-land. It's just 1 city. This is one country. That may appeal to him. Dunno. The other thing is, money talks...Toronnah can now offer the max 5-year deal whereas others can only give 4.

Same thing with Raptors, if they are hoping for Kawaii to stay, they should keep Derazen to have a fighting chance. Kawaii is not going to give raptor 100%, why would he given his current mindset.

That will translate to shitty #s and more drama. Raptor just fucked themselves. At least they were a playoff team in the East.. top 3. Now they are nobody.
