Very surprised that the Magic fans are cheering the Lakers and Phil Jackson. Very Classy!

Dang...thought Howard and the Magic would be too much for the Lakers. Oh well, that's why they play the game...

And oh, MJ > Kobe...

Yeah the 3's finally did them in. The 3's were falling for them in the Cavs series, but not against the Lakers. It would have been a much better series if their shots fell. Game 2 killed the Magic and probably their chances; very hard to come back from a loss like that especially if the final shot is in your hands.

Angry What the f**k is wrong with Laker fans?!?!

As the title states, WTF is wrong with these idiots?!?! Yes I know not all of them but why the hell are they trashing the town when they just WON the championship? I'm watching the news right now and a bunch of these brain dead morons are out trashing the streets, breaking windows, trashing cars, etc. to "celebrate" the Lakers victory.

Their pictures are going to be on a lot of TV news reports tonight and I hope they throw all these dumb fucks in jail and make them clean up streets/highways as part of their community service. What would they have done if the Lakers had lost the championship?!? Burn the whole city down?!?

Yeah but it's not even a good excuse.

I am aware of L.A.'s reputation. I will never live there for the same reason.

Meh, no different than other moron celebrations of their local teams champtionship wins across the US. You mix testosterone, alcohol, a trophy title and a couple idiots make "fans" look bad by trashing their cities and causing riots.

I cringe at the thought of what might (or will) happen in Oakland if the Raiders or the A's ever win a championship. Especially the Raider fans.

Congrats to the Lake.

Man Orlando was suspect to me from the begining of the playoffs. I never thought they were that good, and Howard is overated. He might be the most atheltic Center we've seen in awhile, but he's also completely unskilled with no lowpost game. Orlando might have been the better team than Cleveland and Boston, but I think Cleveland/Boston would have beena better matchup test for LA for a finals series.

If KG had been healthy the Celtics would've been repeat champions IMO.

Parts of LA are rough...but I would never consider this to "be a rough a place."

Sides, its not like this is typical only to LA....I've seen it first hand in Boston, and if you read it happens in other states as well.

^it's hard to say. a lot of sports critics feel that the celtics matched up badly with the cavs and that the cavs would've beaten them, much like the cavs matched up badly with the magic i guess.

garnett being out had a huge impact in these playoffs but it doesn't matter now. the celtics will be 2 years older by the time they start a playoff run in '10 so we'll see how that goes.

Lakers fans winning can't be worse than Phillies fans when they lose.

Don't get me wrong, man. I spent three years in PA and have nothing but love for Philly...it's my second home and I love going back there.

I swear if the Blazers win something next year, this city is liable to explode.

Ive seen it too, I will never understand the logic of it either

last year when the Celtics won there was a good amount of that shit, the best was one news clip of this assclown kicking in a huge storefront window, with a cop watching, and arresting him once done.

In 04 they were rioting after the Red Sox won and an innocent girl was killed by a cop shooting a bean bag gun unto the mob that had surrounded her

This is common to other places that win Championships. In 2006 Gainesville was nuts, although we did not loot anything.
