Did this guy predict the Cubs winning the 2016 World Series in a 23-year-old yearbook? FOX Sports

The one I posted above is real. Multiple people with that same yearbook confirmed it (at least according to the article)

@ Cubs...
Probably the craziest sports game I've ever seen...5-1...then, 5-3, 6-3, 6-4, and then 6-6...When it got tied, I thought it was game over for the Cubs...yet another indication of how the franchise has some weird juju...
And then, the rain...
But, I'm absolutely thrilled to see them win and in this lifetime...definitely a bucket-list thing that I had no control over that has been achieved.

That rain break was crazy, just enough time for the Cubs to regroup
I thought they'd be pushing the end of the game till tonight

So amazed how many never mentioned the Cubs this or any other year. And how many of them so excited about them winning. Still can't mention the staring pitching line up without looking it up.

I have no horse in MLB, but I have to admit I was rooting for The Cubs. I just wanted to see history made.
I wonder if The Cubs organization will try to make any amends with Bartman like The Red Sox did for Buckner.

And then again, "band-wagoning" in sports or anything (hype-cycle) is natural. It's kind of how products are marketed and why "successful" celebrities or sports stars are used to pitch stuff...?
People enjoy being associated with "winners". And well, Cubs are finally that and had success after knocking at the door last year. And yeah, I'm pretty sure most people who are suddenly Cubs fans do not know who Mark Grace, Ryno, The Hawk Dawson, Sutcliffe et al are...but, does it matter? I'm just happy that after decades and decades of ridicule and feeling sorry for this team, there's actually admiration finally...and what's amazing is that Theo has built this team to have a chance to contend for the next few years. This is one young squad and if they keep the key pieces together (Rizzo, Bryant, Baez, Russell, Hendricks, Lester, et al) for awhile, they have a chance to be maybe like the Giants.
Now, back to some discussion: Off-season question for me is what the Cubs will do about the bullpen. Chapman is an UFA...and Rondon and Strop are due for raises...Jensen probably would not be a bad Plan B if Chapman leaves but I'm guessing some team is going to throw a ridiculous pile of $$$$ at the relievers.

I was on the road for work the last two days but from what I read, Bartman was invited and while he was elated, did not show at the parade. And if he did, it may have been icognito since well, with that many turning up, would anyone have noticed if he was not announced?

Frankly, I think the Bartman saga was stupid. He had nothing to do with the Cubs blowing that 3-1 series lead to the Miami Fish.

Huge difference between Bartman and Buckner.
Buckner was a respected player before that error. Bartman is just a fan, he's not going to be at events singing baseballs and taking pictures like Buckner does now

Buckner is always at charity events, golf outings, all that shit. Bartman will probably stay private for the rest of his life sadly. Too bad really

And honestly, Bartman did NOT cause the Cubs to lose that game. When Alou missed that foul ball, the Cubs were still winning and Prior was still pitching. Why is no one blaming A-Gon's error also? The Cubs still had a Game 7 to play as well...anyone want to talk about that? Ridiculous...I feel terrible for that guy and what he's gone through.
