I hope that's not directed towards me, but if it is.
Why would I want someone to go to jail? That sucks. Having worked in the prison system I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. For you to think that I (or anybody else) would use this as fuel to get a rise out of a Yankee fan (especially you) is pretty idiotic , but I wouldn't expect less from you.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. I have no problems with the "actually" Yankees such as A-rod, Jeter, etc. because they're great players and as a baseball fan I even respect the history of the team (last year I even flew all the way across the country to N.Y. to watch a Yankee/Red Sox game). However, it is (look no contraction e30) the fans and the owners that I can't stand. Between trying to buy championships and fans' sense of entitlement is what makes me a Yankee hater.
Note to all Yankee fans, please get over the fact that people hate your team, that's sports, deal with it.

Feeling guilty?
Really? no rise out of you at all I see.
You have detailed files upon which to base my mind set so I accept your judgment as to what is normal behavior for me, what is your suggested course of action?
You have said you hate the Yankees, you say they buy their wins, A-Rod has the richest contract in baseball he was "bought" (as opposed to all the other teams whose players play for gum)
I am glad to hear you respect them, they have an amazing history and the money they pump into the city is huge.
As far as the criminal aspect of this case I am sure she will do very little if any time.
As far at the 450k (assuming that is what he made) compared to A-Rod it is small but he is doing all kinds of endorsements (Sharp for example) so I am sure he is fine and can get Mom the best lawyer.

Sorry, you don't get a rise out of me anymore. Arguing with you kind of lost its luster.
I never said they buy their wins, just the players that give them a better chance of winning. But if that's the case, than there's something really fishy going on and MLB needs to take up an investigation . Also, A-rod was bought, all players are bought, assuming they're paying him dollars and not peanuts. And if any player is playing for gum, that better be some damn good gum and props to the owners for getting the business deal of the millennia.

Feeling guilty? About what? The only one that should be feeling guilty is one of your pitchers moms. Sorry I had too, for old times sake.

My point is all teams pay players money, not gum or fish sticks. All players are bought.
Feeling guilty was responding to your is this directed at me question.

I guess I should have put my last post in red text, since it's obvious that the sarcasm wasn't picked up.
e30cabrio, maybe you should ask the Yankees to buy you a sense of humor because you seem a little uptight.

Firstoff I have a great sense of humor, second posting the numerous videos & links I posted was humorous (although apparently lost on you). Finally I was not ascribing all Yankee hater blame on anyone and the Joba piece was an attempt at more humor.
I hate off days, I also hate the late start & daylight savings making the start seem later.
Yankees in 24 hours!!!!!!!
Elephants work for peanuts.

Yea because posting links to people's moms going to jail is real humorous, sorry but your sense of humor failed you there.
For someone that hates the word hate, you sure do use it a lot.
I think Elephants working for peanuts is a stereotype because everytime I go to the zoo they seem to be eating plants and fruits, but then again I never been to the Bronx zoo.

They feed Yankee haters to the elephants @ the Bronx Zoo.
For someone that is so sensitive you waste a lot of tomatoes

It's the Halladay season!

Well, with everything going on with Hamels comments (selfish bastard, btw) focus is going to be down with the Phils.
Let's hope they can put that aside, especially Howard. I mean, JEEZ, is it that impossible to lay off a slider??? One you KNOW they're throwing...

I really think he meant he just wanted his rough season to end. In other words, he wished he could stop pitching like crap. I don't think he meant he is tired of playing baseball or didn't care about winning.

Haven't been on lately, but just wanted to check in and see how everyone is feeling. My observations so far:
Crazy amounts of base running errors.
Crazy amounts of missed calls. Listen, I know umps makes mistakes and miss calls, but it seems be alot more in this postseason then any before.
Closers- Not getting the job done. Giving up 2 out saves? yikes!
I think the Yankees have a great shot. CC is being his normal self and pitching well. ARod is learning to be comfortable, hoping he keeps it up. AJ will need to settle down a little bit, and Pettitte, well he is a postseason gem. I think we will have a good series with the Halos and come out on top.
I don't think the dodgers will make it, not enough pitching IMO.
Yankees Phillie world series. Yankees in 6

One on the right for me
If the Yankees were down by 4 I wouldn't be writing this game off...but Philly is...so...congrats to New York. They played well the whole series. I don't like them but I appreciate good baseball.
