How about that Mets starting pitching.....looking good so far, even though all the "experts" said it would be our demise. Glavine looked real good last night. Looks like were gonna breeze right through to the World Series.

Same for the Cards. However, Glavine has pitched great the whole season and John Maine has been awesome. I don't even know why they were thinking about starting El Douchbag.

They were putting a lot of stock in his post-season experience....

Hey, another St. Louisan. What's up?

I think it's a wonderful thing. Gotta hope that LA is going to comeback too.

I think it's fantastic. I also think that the Yankees were in this position twice against the Twins and didn't need to return home to finish them off. Then again, the Twins didn't have a guy who could throw 103 I love the call when Rodriguez whiffed for the third time that "he had no chance".

Is it me, or do the radar guns seem to be a little high this post season. Looks like everyone is throwing 95+ all of a sudden.

Most Midwesterners aren't a fan of any Northeast teams. That and I always like rooting for the underdog.

Detroit rookie dude they had at 103 MPH. I did not watch the game but read about it. Is that accurate, does he really throw that hard?

I'm sure he's a hard thrower, but that can't be accurate. Like I said, when I was watching the Mets and the Yanks, those pitchers were deffinatly being over-clocked. They usually over-clock anyway, but it seems a little to high since the playoffs started.

Yeah, he throws more at around 101 MPH. If you've watched Zumaya before, he really does throw that hard. It's not the NY radar guns.

Dude he was throwing some heat! accurate or not 100+ is fast and when swinging at it your not going to recognize the difference between 101 or 103.

Kenny Rodgers.

I bailed after he struck out Aberu for the 2nd out of the 8th.
So I still have not seen the ZMan and his 101 MPH stuff.
Did they show the gun on ZMans pitches to the one and only batter he faced, ARod?

Owned again Fuzzy..It's a shame they let a bad team beat them. There is no way the Tigers are better than the Yankees but they came to play and the Yanks didnt.

The Tigers outplayed the Yankees and rightfully deserved to win...what a great game. A-Rod worth $25M? I don't think so...

It's going to be an awesome ALCS.

We took out Santana, who easily surpasses any pitcher on the Detroit staff and we had the upper hand in the regular season (I know, regular season does not mean shit in the post season).
