I can't believe they're making them do a back to back and game one is Saturday night! Hell at least make Saturdays game at 1pm and the Sunday game at 8pm. But it looks like both 8pm games, this is eff'd up.

I wonder what time range they are considering. And I don't think back-to-back games in the same city is that bad. If they had to travel though, it would be a different story.

Pens fans, ANY WORD on when OUR tickets go on sale? The goddamn ticketbastards have the wings games on sale, but no pens.

Ebay has a few, but total rip off. stub hub is a little better, I found two seats for $550 that I am seriously considering for game 6. I just want to know the gate price so I can determine how bad I'm being raped.

I don't think Jonsei is thinking "we'll win". He's just doesn't want to jinx his team. Like many a NHL player (see Zetterberg last night) he believes what is said and touched will have an effect on the outcome of a game.

Approximately 1,000 tickets for each of the first two home games of the Stanley Cup Final will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., the Pittsburgh Penguins announced today.

These will be for Games 3 and 4 of the Cup Final series between the Penguins and Detroit Red Wings – to be played Tuesday, June 2 and Thursday, June 4 at Mellon Arena. Both games will start at 8 p.m.

I'm better now. Overall, I'm very thrilled that the Hawks got this far in the playoffs...their ability to comeback in games in the other series was remarkable. As much as I hate Detroit (sucks), I would've preferred them over the Ducks because the Kids needed to show they can beat the best...and right now, they can play with the best but still have a ways to go before they can beat them.

Here's hoping they cross that bridge next season...

When the Hawks sucked, you didn't just start rooting for the best team (a la dom). And you didn't just start posting in the NHL threads when your team started playing well (a la 97BlackAck).

In fact, dom is a serial bandwagon jumper. Given his age, he probably started watching football in the 80s. You think the 49ers being his favorite team was an accident? Who was he gonna pick? Buffalo?

I've always been a Leaf fan. Sure I cheered for the Hawks back in the Roenick days but the Leafs always had my heart. And I'm not really a Pens fans. In fact I've always hated Mario. Crosby is the reason I'm hoping the Pens win. But when the Leafs are good in 2020/21, Crosby can go to hell.

You're right about why I'm a Niner fan Became a 49ers fan during the 89 SB when I was really first introduced to the NFL. And ya the 49ners were good. But I've stuck with them.

At least my wife didn't have to teach me what an offside and icing was.
