Jeebus, I sure hope tonights game 7 is better than last night's snoozefest.

And I predict pens fans to join the butthurt gang on the fairways shortly. No way Pens put an extra goal past Bishop in 4 out of 7 games. Even with half-sack jedi-master.

Kudos for taking a hard check to the boards from cabby and playing on, but you're much more fun as salty taco, not hug-a-bear taco. Stick with what got you to the big club, we didn't call you up for your skill level.

The Bolts are vulnerable given the injuries to some key players like Stralman. So, you take away a Top 2 d-man like that, it creates issues defensively and even offensively (getting puck to the forwards).

We'll see.

We snark about the Caps/Ovie choking but fact of the matter is, they are IMO a very deep squad. I did not really see any holes and the Pens dispatched them in 6. I think confidence and depth stepping up can be dangerous in any series...Pens have oodles of it right now and have had an arguably harder route to the Conference Final than the Bolts match-up-wise.

It's a pick 'em for me but it looks like Sid and his boys are on a mission: Pens in 7.

Blues in 7 over whoever wins Preds/Sharks.

If the Blues make the Cup Final, I believe this is their year...they ultimately have a deeper team than Pittsburgh. Both showcase NO-NAME goalies...that's a wash...but, the Blues (who I despise, BTW) just are deeper. That defense is impressive.

I can't pick against them. Even if I'm rooting for the team that comes out of the East.

Confidence and depth meet immovable object: Bishop.

Besides, cabby is rooting for the pens now, so they're done.

Pens have a harder route than St. Louis? As moogelino would say, put down the bong.

Huh...? I'm talking about the route to the EASTER CONFERENCE FINAL. Hence why I said Pens had an arguably harder route to the EASTER CONFERENCE FINAL than the Bolts.

I'm not talking about the West.

I don't like either of your suggestions, just give it to me and I'll take care of it.

Now that every team I've rooted for has failed out this season I guess it's down to Jumbo Joe and his epic old man beard.

If the Sharks can GET to the Cup Final? Sure...but, I'll believe it when I see it.

I personally don't think Bishop is a Vezina caliber goalie, he's big, 6'7" and his size is his strength, but immovable object is right as he has a hard time getting east to west. Pens love redirections. Hoping for an exciting conf final, Pens in 6

And we all know Cabby is rooting for anyone BUT the Pens in real life

Actually I hate TB more than anyone right now. First they knocked us out then Callahan, Strahlman, Boyle, all a$$hat defectors that left for $ & that whiny coach. Hate them more than Boston or Montreal.

So in this series I really am rooting Pens (because rooting against TB

As with any large goalie, get them moving from side to side and voila. I think the biggest difference here is the Bolts are faster than the Caps...probably less shenanigans (i.e. no Wilson, Orpik) and so, hopefully the Pens don't resort to that too.

If the teams play hard but clean, this series should be very entertaining given Tampa's style. I had them pegged as a Cup favorite at the beginning of the year but have to admit had ruled them out given their injuries.

Wow...Bolts' scoring leader and #1 goalie are both out? If Pens don't win this series, they blow a great opportunity.

We'll see what Tampa is made of...they still have some decent depth IMO.

Callahan showing yet again what a piece of shit he is, elbows Letang in the head as he boards him head first, and then boarding Lovejoy with an elbow between the numbers on his first shift out of the box. He should have been ejected after his first hit, even the retards on NBC said that. Palat boarding Doumolin was also ridiculous. Lightning can't skate with the Pens, so they're apparently just going to pick off our d-men 1 at a time. No hearing for Callahan? Department of player safety my ass

Pens will adjust and hopefully come back stronger, just hope the Lightning stop trying to hurt everyone on the ice

You're pengoons threw just as many cheap shots. Kunitz tried to crush Johnsons skull into the glass with his elbow, fortunately for Johnson he dodged the flying elbow and only injured his knee.

NBC analysts couldn't get crosbys dick out of their mouths long enough to say someone should be ejected.

You just said EASTER twice, have you been sinning a bit too much and feel guilty? Repent yummy cakes, repent!

Besides, all routes to the cup in the past 25 years have gone through hockeytown, so yes the Bolts have had the more difficult route, duh.

No argument here, that was definitely a questionable hit. That was however after they tried to take out half of our d-core

Day-to-day. That's as best you're gonna get. And um, with a "lower-body injury".

I suspect the Bolts' backup will get the net again.

So, the Lightning organization announced that people are forbidden to wear Penguins colors to their building? What kind of petty shit is that, are they going to kick out paying customers?

They pulled weaksauce like that with Detroit too, going so far as to require a local FL drivers license to acquire tickets because they were sick of getting trolled by "lets go red wings" louder than homer chants in their own barn.

Just imagine how they'll try to stiff domcha in round one 10 years from now when the leaves finally make the post season after babs is fired.
