The League should suspend him until the case is settled as they did with Moog's beloved Slapya Titsov.

Nothing.
But, the Sun-Times had an article about how teams have called inquiring about his availability...There's also some in the press that are advocating the Hawks move him given the distractions he's bringing to the club with the case.
LEMME CHECK SPORTSMOCKERY.COM FOR THE LATEST SCOOP THOUGH. HANG ON. GET BACK TO YOU IN A MONTH.

Why would any team trade for Kane? He's obviously top 5 talent put it would be a pr nightmare. And worse case he ends up getting charged you'll lose all your trade pieces for nothing

It cost 2 handguns Hernandez asked Kraft to "hold" for him

The question is when this case is cleared and IF Kane is not charged, IF the Hawks will trade him. There are 2 camps: those who believe the Hawks brass, rightfully so, are past their limit with his stupidity because his shenanigans in 2012 was already strike 3 and before he signed his new contract that is about to kick in, he had sworn to clean up his act...obviously, regardless of rape or not, he relapsed because he again, has put himself into an idiot's corner.
There is the other camp, if Kane is cleared, well, moving his salary is one challenge and can the Hawks even get anything remotely close in fair value? History says no. Look at most of the trades of star players (i.e. Seguin and etc.), the former team always does not come out ahead.
Anyhow, this will be interesting. I am not against Kane being traded because frankly, he does not show signs of ever growing up and being a professional and well, his off-ice actions are embarrassing to the franchise.

There's no joking about the off season they just had. Will it mean playoff's? Of course not this season. But it does mean Lord Stanley won't have the leave the city in a few years.

Slava Voynov’s North American hockey career appears to be in jeopardy.
The Los Angeles Kings defenseman was taken into custody Wednesday by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Russian born Voynov had been serving jail time in Seal Beach Police Detention Center since July 7. He pled no contest to misdemeanor “corporal injury to a spouse” on July 2.
After Voynov's release in Seal Beach, ICE took him into custody and is holding the Russian citizen at an unspecified detention facility pending a hearing by an immigration judge, an agency spokeswoman said Thursday.
Because of the violent nature of Voynov's legal entanglement — which brought him to the attention of ICE in the first place — the agency didn't set a bond.
Initially, Voynov was charged with felony of “corporal injury to spouse with great bodily injury for his part in a late October altercation with his wife.
Voynov got 90 days in jail and three years probation as part of the plea.

According to trial testimony, Voynov caused a laceration over his wife’s left eye and red marks on her neck. It was also said that he pushed her to the ground multiple times, kicked her and choked her three times.
Voynov has been suspended with pay by the NHL since the initial arrest. His salary cap hit is for $4.167 million which currently doesn’t count against LA’s cap. Voynov is also suspended by the Kings for suffering a torn Achilles during a recreational activity.

Antti Raanta rooted for Blackhawks playoff loss, ‘pissed off’ about treatment
https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nh...m_campaign=nhl
As the Chicago Blackhawks ascended to the Stanley Cup, goalie Antti Raanta was dropped down the depth chart. The goalie had been seen as a potential challenger to Corey Crawford’s status as a starter; instead, he was practicing with the Black Aces, as journeyman sensation Scott Darling had won the backup job.
Naturally, this didn’t sit well with Raanta, and he spoke about it to Finnish paper Satakunnan Kansa with stunning candor: The Chicago Blackhawks goalie was rooting against the Chicago Blackhawks in the playoffs.
From reader Ju Pa, via Iltasanomat.fi (currently down):
“I was really hoping Nashville would beat us in four games and I could get back to Finland. I was [so pissed off] about how Chicago was treating me.”
According to Raanta, Blackhawks were suffering of weak team spirit and head coach Joel Quenneville didn't seem to like him.
“I noticed that coach didn't like me, in that position it is pretty difficult to fight the windmills,” Raanta said
Raanta played 25 gamed for Chicago in 2013-14, posting an .897 save percentage. He played 14 in 2014-15, with a .936 save percentage. But he lost the backup gig to Darling and didn’t see any postseason action. Raanta was traded to the New York Rangers in June for forward Ryan Haggerty.

As Vesa Rantanen writes on Tuesday, this is an oddly harsh, even for a Finnish goalie, as Finnish goalies make other goalies look nutty, which as you know is a real talent.
At least Raanta stuck to his guns and didn't, like, party with the Stanley Cup back in Finland after rooting for the Blackhawks to lose in the Nashville Predators in four games, making him a total hypocrite.

Yeah, read that...not sure if it's true or not since it's been denied and refuted now. But, if yes, well, he's now no longer Chicago's problem.

Kane Case Headed to Grand Jury
From here: Patrick Kane investigation to be presented to grand jury, report says
The case involving a sexual assault allegation against Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane will be presented to a grand jury beginning next week, The Buffalo News reported, citing three anonymous sources.
Legal experts familiar with the Erie County grand jury process told the News that the accuser and Kane likely will be invited to give testimony to the grand jury, which also will review medical evidence and hear testimony from police and witnesses.
Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III, the woman's attorney and Kane's attorney all declined to comment to the News.
The grand jury, which comprises 23 people, will review all evidence in the case and vote on whether there is enough evidence to charge Kane.
Police have confirmed only that they are investigating an incident that allegedly occurred the first weekend of August at Kane's lakefront home in Hamburg, New York. The Buffalo News reported Kane is under investigation for sexual assault.
The News also reported the woman underwent treatment at a local hospital, where a rape kit was administered.
Kane has met with investigators in the case, the News previously reported.

Kane grand jury postponed, sources say - BN Hockey
Looks like Kane preparing for some hush money
A grand jury investigation into rape allegations against National Hockey League star Patrick Kane set to begin Tuesday afternoon has been abruptly postponed, according to three current and former law enforcement sources with knowledge of the case. The reason for the delay appears to involve the possibility of ongoing settlement talks between attorneys for Kane and the victim, two of the sources said.
The Buffalo News last week confirmed that summonses had been issued by the Erie County District Attorney’s Office to individuals directing them to appear before the grand jury, with the first witness set for 2 p.m. Tuesday. Kane has been accused by a young woman of sexually-assaulting her in his Hamburg mansion after meeting her at a downtown bar early last month. Town of Hamburg police and the Erie County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the allegations against the Chicago Blackhawks superstar.

Although, not sure if getting a clue can be bought...

So since Kane is essestislly admitting his guilt, how many games suspension will you be asking for Yumchah, and how many posts on the subject? I expect nothing less that what you've done with Brady and the Pats.
I feel the need...

I heard a rumor from a very well connected source that as of late last week the alleged victim already turned down a $3 million settlement. This probably doesn't go away for anything less than $10 and he can likely say sayonara to the NHL. What an
