Any of you guys see Pascal Dupuis' "In My Blood"...?
Good read if you haven't: In My Blood | The Players' Tribune

But, yes...correct. Cap hell. Only team that is not cap hell ever are the Kings. EVER. Even when Quick is pulled last night after a stinker against the Jets? It's not his fault.
And giving up a 1st for Sekera? BARGAIN. Makes the every other teams' trades look like rip-offs. Dunno how these other GMs are employed or even dare to look up when they see Deano...he's the MJ of GMs.

And I would never Kill Moog. He's the only hope I have of chasing Yumchah from this site once and for all. Only Moog can beat the Yumchah. Everyone else including myself have tried and failed.
Moog will one day return to right the ship and save us all from his nonsensical goalie opinions and hatred of Apple.

The Oli Jokinien era in Toronto is over. He had a great run in the Blue and White and I'll cherish the memories but it was time for him to move on. There was nothing else left to prove in Toronto. He did it all and almost single handily turned around the franchise. He'll be missed. Good luck Oli, go get em. Trading Oli is just more proof of the impending re-build in Toronto.

Well, you should re-consider your grade, dom. If the true strategy is to WIN like the Sabres and Oilers, I think retaining that great "leadership" that Dion and Phil provide is going to contribute greatly to this "winning".
So, I would give Shanny a nice B+ for his moves. Besides, the good players like Winnik and Franson already were traded.

I'm not sure about the talbot deal, don't know what it cost them. The other deal was 2 second round picks but we had extra 2nd roun picks both years from the boychuck deal so I'm ok with that.
Putting Cunningham on waivers and losing him to Arizona pisses me off especially since it looks like we didn't need the roster space. That poor management may be the icing on the cake of chiapets retirement party.
