And like I said about our QB.. he played like shit and we got our ass beat. Bama is not the #1 team in the country. They have an awesome defense, but terrible offense. They ran the "wildcat" for half of their offensive possessions. Would the #1 team really have to do that to win a game?

I grew up in Tallahassee and went through our glory days. He (Bobby) really HAS brought up this program from the ground, but it seems like he is doing more hurting than helping now. It will always be Bobby Bowden Field and no one is going to forget what he did for us.

LSU looked good.
Florida and SC came through late in the game as championship teams do.
Bama got their squeeker, their offense was pathetic. They should be thankful to have a decent placekicker and an all-american nose tackle.

It's difficult in college football to go 12-0. Often, the close games provide impetus for the rest of the season in championship campaigns.

UF's defense will carry them for a while until Urban Meyer gets on his offense coordinator's ass to actually call good plays. All we do is run hitches, run a few option plays, QB keeper, run the dive play, and that aaron hernandez pitch play. It's pretty sad. We need to involve Rainey and Demps in the pass game.

Try going 14-0 and winning it all. The 2002 Buckeyes were the heart-attack kids. I can think of at least 3 moments in the regular season ++++ the overtime win against Miami that almost put me in the hospital.

That was a decade ago and before the ascent of the SEC to become the most dominant conference in CFB.Even with 1 loss, teams like USC and LSU still look dominant. Bottom line is without a playoff system, all this discussion is semantic.

There's no point of comparing two teams when they don't even get to play head to head. It's impossible to say this team is better than that team without lettting them play head to head.

Ponder isn't getting the love he deserves either. He's had a hell of a year compared to others on the list. Of course our defense has to not show up the year he balls out. There is still is next year, though...
