Michigan got beat by App. State and then embarrassed by Oregon, who would do the same to Ohio State. That's the thing with the Big 10, teams dont' play the tough opponents every year. Even then those opponents aren't really that "tough."

The few games they do play a legit opponent outside of Conference the last couple years, they get waxed...Oregon over Michigan, Florida over OSU, USC over Michigan.

Speaking of high scores, how did Cincy not get more than that? They had 31 the first quarter and only 7 the rest of the game.

I'm not sure who's QBs suck worse this year. FSU or Miami's.
Absolute shit. Seriously, both programs couldn't get those 4 crap tossers out fast enough.
Raise your hand if you suck:
Weathford
Lee
Freeman
Wright
.............thanks for participating.
Christ..........Tim Tebow is best the QB in that state, whether it be professional or college.

Someone explain to me why Oklahoma is still ranked behind LSU and Oregon?
Big XII is clearly the best conference this year...three teams in the top 7. The SEC (Ga) and Pac10 (Az St) have only one other team in the top 10...10th and 9th respectively.
Oklahoma also has a win against a higher ranked team (Missouri #7) than either LSU or Oregon.
I suppose Oklahoma's loss is to a lesser team than LSU's and Oregon's...but Colorado really isn't substantially inferior to Cal and Kentucky...they are ranked 24th and 25th at 6-3...nothing special.
At least the coaches poll is more reasonable than the AP with OU being closer to 3rd.

Yeah, but the rankings for this week will be taken into consideration next Sunday. As of yesterday Oregon beat the #4 team which gives them the advantage over OU.

Texas was preseason #4...do the Sooners get credit for beating the #4 team? Is a win over "#2 South Florida" a big win now?
My POV is to examine the teams and the quality of wins based currently rather than when the win occured.

Because the reverse could be true also, Miss was #11 when OU beat them, has their strength of schedule since then become less strong allowing them to creep up the rankings?
My point, there are an infinite number of variables when it comes to being able to rank accurately so I sort of agree with you, however, I don't to the point where I would rank OU #2 or #3 yet.

So what makes you believe LSU s/b ahead of Oklahoma? Playing all of the last 5 games within a touchdown and looking beatable, including losing one of them?
I guess all those wins against overranked 6-3 SEC teams is impressive.
SEC as usual gets too much credit.
- highest ranked 1 loss team
- highest ranked 2 loss team
- Five of the six 3 loss teams in the top 25

I should've stated different...
#1 Ohio State (Although I question this as well even though I am a UMich fan and support the Big Ten)
#2 Oregon
#3 Kansas
#4 OU
I'm with you on LSU

And you have to admit that LSU has had a WAY tougher schedule.. Florida, Kentucky, Alabama, Auburn, Virginia Tech, South Carolina. This is compared to Texas & Missouri for Oklahoma..

My buddy from middle/high school is now a kicker for Georgia Southern University. They beat Appalachian State (the team that beat Michigan in the first game of the season) this year. I don't know when the game was, but just came across this picture in his girlfriend's album. I know that may not seem very exciting, just thought I'd share. He needs to transfer over to FSU so we can get rid of Cismesia's sorry ass.

And who has Missouri played? A loss to Oklahoma. A win against Nebraska who is fucking terrible this year.. and against Texas Tech who has not beaten a ranked team this year.
The Big 12 is weak this year except for Oklahoma.

Florida...a 3 loss team
Kentucky...a 3 loss team
Alabama...a 3 loss team
Auburn...a 3 loss team
Virginia Tech...a good win
South Carolina...6-4 OK awesome win
The SEC is so far and beyond every other conference that 5 of the 6 teams with 3 losses belong in the top 25? I don't think so.
The 4 teams Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Texas have a combined 4 losses...3 of which are amongst the group itself. If the SEC had 4 teams in this scenario, they would all be in the top 10. Of course the SEC doesn't have 4 teams like this since they all semingly have 3 losses or more.
Season isn't over though. OU still has a shot at Kansas or Missouri (again) and that opponent will be superior to whatever turd cmes out of the SEC East.
