True, but this time the Pats will have their running game, Corey Dillon, this AFC Championship game. Hopefully the Pats will have the entire secondary back.

I'd like to see Indy go to the SB but until hey get a defene it just won't happen. I also question manning's play in big games, he throws too many INT's for my liking.

Maybe Peyton can pay and get the entire Pats defense to play for Indy even though the Pats dont have all their starters playing right now.

Jake "the Mistake" Plummer gave the crowd the bird in Denver today, after throwing another boneheaded interception. The Broncos need to cut their losses after this year and draft a real QB. This dude just isn't cutting it as a starter.

I think the bidding for Bree's services are going to be quite interesting and hopefully the Bronco's will get involved. Jake has to go and go soon, he's not a winning QB and is a coach killer, as Mike Shanahan will soon find out. Five freaking years without a playoff win and constant midseason swoons do not make a Super Bowl contender.

Denver Bronco quarterback Jake Plummer flashed an obscene gesture toward the stands Sunday at Denver after throwing a first-quarter interception and being jeered in Denver's 20-17 victory over Miami.

"I apologize for that to our fans and everyone," Plummer said. "It wasn't directed to our fans. One guy got into my head a little bit. It shouldn't be that way."

Plummer finished 16 for 30 with two interceptions. He has no touchdowns and six interceptions in the last two games and has been the target of criticism recently in Denver.

Last week, former teammate Shannon Sharpe ripped into him, although Plummer said he hadn't heard the comments and labeled them nothing more than "Chinook winds blowing off the mountains."

He wasn't able to turn a deaf ear to the fans, however.

The interception came on a sidearm throw that was nabbed by Dolphin defensive end Jay Williams, the fourth defensive lineman to pick off Plummer this season. After the play, TV cameras caught Plummer putting his middle finger behind his head while sitting on the bench, without turning around.

"I'm not going to lie and say I didn't do it," Plummer said. "I've never done that before. It was one of those things where I got caught up in the emotion of a big game, and my emotions got the best of me."

Plummer wouldn't reveal what the fan said.

"He didn't say 'Good job,' " Plummer said.

Eagles choking almost negates the Giants suckyness.

Focusing on the Giants pathetic season is negative and will lead to days of drinking. However, if the Eagles win the SB it will also lead to ridicule around my office which leads to more drinking.

The Chargers are 20+ million under the cap. They shouldnt have any problem signing him next year. I think Brees wants to stay, but he does have to worry about losing his starting job to Rivers if he has a few bad games next year. The Chargers have said there was no way no how they were going to trade Rivers, so that wont be an option.

So is Eli. But every first rounder gets paid. So until they change that system, all these rookies will get paid too much to begin with.

Hopefully this will be a lesson to the Giants. They should have an internship type system. Pay a rookie minimal or no pay for the first year, then up the numbers as the years go on. Eli is actually getting worse as the season goes by.

Thats the NFL's fault. If you dont pay a rookie what he wants, he can hold out for the season and resign with another team next year (which is what Rivers almost did to the Chargers), who would probably pay him what he wants. Untill the NFL puts some sort of cap on rookie salaries and signing bonuses, nothing will change and salries will get bigger and bigger for rookies.

I wouldnt worry though, Eli will most likely be a great QB someday. You can tell he just not used to the speed of NFL players. And that just comes with time.

Theisman's was little too grotesque.. I'd be content with Steve Young style.. Or if not due to injury, Heath Shuler style will also do.

Heath Shuler, nice one!

And the way the Gmen's o-line is blocking, Steve Young style isnt too far fetched.

It's hard to get sacked when you throw away the ball every down.
