Pittsburgh, may be the best team in the NFL right now, but I still have them at #2... we'll see what happens against Indy & NE.
Point taken, but I still disagree. Indy...who have they played (JAC has a great D, but they are not there offensively) to warrant a #1 ranking? In fact, they don't play a decent team until Week 6. Now, if they shut down STL and beat NE week 8, then they deserve it. People are jumping on that Bandwagon too quick about their defense.

NE is still the two time defending champion. Enough said. Coordinators gone...yes...Defensive players gone...yes, but Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are still there and that is all that matters. Even great teams have bad games and I think one loss against a good opponent is not enough to dethrone them.

PIT speaks for them selves. Strong D and Productive offense

PHI played ATL without the heart of their defense and with McNabb hurt. They are still a powerhouse, but I would compromise and consider them a #4 behind Indy at #3.

When I mentioned STL, I know they are not an upper tier team. Their offense however is very productive and I more mean that if Indy's D can shut down STL's offense down...that will be my judge of how for real the D is.

I feel ya brother... the top 3 or 4 spots are really about even. I too am not sold on Indys D, even after they murdered Leftwich... plus they have a cake schedule... NE on the other hand has a killer schedule.... we'll see how my rankings move after this weekend.

Don't forget New England beat Oakland with their high powered offense.

Chris, sorry about Donovan Darius. He's one of my favorite Jags.

Alexander should start for sure.

Green Bay sucks, but they have not given up a rushing touchdown or a 100yds thus far. However, they have not faced a premier rusher either.

San Diego has given up more yards and TD's, but they played Dallas and Denver who are known for their running games.

There are not a lot of stats yet to use them as a deciding factor so I would say use the runner who plays the crapier team. So go with Cadillac, but make sure to check his status regarding his foot on Saturday.

Thanks man... he's one of my favorites too... he is a huge leader on that team, and a top 3 SS in my opinion... he's always healthy too... at least we have Deke Cooper (who played with Carolina in the SB), he is no DD, but he is a very good safety who is considered better against the pass, but not anywhere near as good against the run.

Alexander & Barber.

I think SD will win this game (they wont start 0-3) and thus NYG will be playing catch up, thus... passing a lot.

They are both playing good defenses, but Green Bay has really struggled running the ball with their diminished O-Line. You can't go wrong with Willie, even against a NE defense. He should start until he gives you a reason not to.

Clinton Portis & Jamal Lewis are both on Bye this week:

I have Westbrook starting, but... here is where it gets ugly...

I have Chris Brown (always injured & hasnt done anything yet...)
I have Mewelde Moore (supposed to be the featured back this week...)

Which one should I start ???

Who does Minn play this week?

My thoughts are after throwing that many INT's they have to start running the damn ball..

Chris Brown is any different the Jamal Lewis? They both suck this year.. wtf.. Damn Lewis.. He's killing me..

Minnesota is playing the Saints... I am seriously thinking of starting him.

here is the big reason... NATE BURLESON is OUT for the game, meaning they have NO #1 WR.... so they have to run the ball. right?

I have traded Lewis in a few leagues... got Portis for him!

From what I have read, Michael Bennett is still going to be the starter. Mike Tice said that Bennett has never been a fumbler and is not known as one. He said that he was averaging 12 yards a carry until he benched him.

Who would you start?

Travis Taylor, MIN vs NO

or

Greg Lewis, PHI vs OAK

With Burleson out, Travis Taylor will be Minnys #1 WR this weekend.

who should i start?

Lamont Jordan (Oakland) or Brandon Jacobs (Giants): I have jordan starting now, but they're playing against the eagles so I'm debating whether or not jacobs would put up more points against the weakass 49'ers.

Kickers: Vanderjagt or Rackers: Vanderjagt's been putting up low points since their offense never really needs FG's and Rackers is getting a lot of opportunities to score FG's and has proven himself so far. (i have rackers starting now)

Tight Ends: Dallas Clark or Jerramy Stevens: Clark is listed as probable after his concussion and they're playing the browns. But stevens is playing against the cardinals. (currently starting dallas clark)

Defense: Patriots or Chiefs: I'm starting Chiefs right now since the Pats are going to be playing against the Eagles defense and since they havent been putting up many pts, I decided to give the chiefs a shot since they play the broncos this week.

Note: This is my first time in fantasy football, so be gentle. And thanks!

Lamont Jordan is the better back but will not get a lot of scoring opportunities this year because of Oakland's Vertical Offense. Jacobs has been the Giants guy in Goal line and short yardage situations. I would not expect that many yards out of him, but he may get a TD or 2.

Indy is playing CLE and will have more chances to score against them.

I don't really know much about Stevens, but if Dallas is healthy enough to go, start him because Peyton looks for him as a check down quite a bit.

I would say go with the Chiefs, Gunther runs a lot of blitzes and Jake Plummer presses when he doesn't have time which may lead to a few turnovers.

Jacobs' knock is that he's not the featured back. I don't know if the G-Men's offense is potent enough to merit starting a backup Rb.

For the kicker it's a venue and opponent pick. If it's Indy at home against a weak team then Vandy.

Stevens had a good game last week and they're saying he'll break out this year. I think I read that Hasselback plays great at home and against Zona shouldn't change. However Darrell and Engram and of course Shaun might steal TD's. Clark hasn't much since Indy's sputtered. If they break out he's more likely to score while they fire on all cylinders versus Stevens when Seattle fires on all cylinders. That's a tight one. If I had any other Colts starters, I'd start Stevens.

Yeah I'd go with KC D too.
