Mounts have a different part #'s between 98-02 v6 accord & 97-99 Acura 3.0cL. The 97-99 Acura 3.0cL actually share the same mounts as the 95-97 v6 Accord. I believe the only difference between them (97-99 cL & 95-97 v6 accord mounts) is a bracket that holds ther rear mount in place. I have been looking in to this since these mounts were first made. I believe Cocoa actually used 3.0cL mounts for his swap as well. I was a bit curious as to why he didn't use type-s mounts for his swap. I believe their is a difference in mounts between 6th gen accords and 1st gen 3.0 cL's. However, a confirmation on this would be great..!

Yes that is the part we're doing. The Accord V6 98-02 are the same as the 2nd gen CL/TL A/T for the front and rear. I'm not sure about the side yet.

Sorry Mike and Blackack, I was at SEMA in Las Vegas all last week so I didn't get many chances to get online or talk to Innovative. I did speak to them today and they are going to call me later today with some updates. Based on the prices of other 3pc kits I believe the 3 pc kit will run about $325 shipped or so at the GB price, but I can't confirm b/c they haven't given me pricing yet.

I spoke to Innovative again today. It seems that they are almost done with the rear CL-S M/T mount. They are beginning the side mount. He said the bolt hole is very large on the side mount, almost 1". I am not looking at a CL so I can't tell if that is right. Is that true? Is there a collar in there? I don't have pricing yet. I have to wait on that still.

Can anyone tell me WHICH MOUNTS go more Frequently???? I want to replace those with the aftermarket mounts.. but at the same time. if i wont have to worry about these mounts for a while then i will get all 3..... SO

DOES anyone know which mounts go the quickest and most frequent with an 02 TLS?

i don't know but i'm getting all 3 mounts. it's a better bet to have 3 new mounts vs. 2 new mounts and 1 mount that has a lot of mileage on it. if you buy 2 it may cause the 3 mount to wear quicker since the Innovative mounts will be of better quality and may put more stress on the 3rd mount.

I'm not quite sure what you are wanting to know, but I looked at my TL's side mount and am assuming you are looking at the bolt that goes through the center of the mount. It's a pretty thick bolt, but it only has a 17mm head on it. The center of the mount looks to be some sort of hard rubber that the bolt passes through.

I gave Chris (97BlacAckCL) all the info I know...

The 95-97 Accords use the C series engines, which means the mounts will not work on our J series. Their engines sit directly on top of the transmission, and sit at a 90 degree angle as opposed to ours at 60 degrees.

Although the mounts on the 1st Gen CL look similar to the 98-02 Accord, the best way to see if these fit, is to see how many holes there are for the mounts and where they bolt on the the subframe. I pulled up some diagrams, but am not satisfied with the pictures. If anyone can, try and find some pics of the original mounts, and compare them with the aftermarket ones. If they bolt in the same place, then it should work. But based on my diagrams, it shows that the front mount has 3 holes for the bolts to go through, compared to the 4 holes in the 98-02 Accord's mounts. But this is for the front only. The side mounts look similar, and it seems like the rear has 4 holes for the bolts just like the Accord, but I need to know how far apart they are. The important part is, the position of the holes, and obviously the amount of holes.

I need pics to verify, or if anyone has them in hand, then you can get your answer by simply placing the bottom end of both mounts (oem and aftermarket ones) and see if the holes align perfectly. If so, then you're golden.

I'm trying my best to get you 1st Gen guys an answer...

Is your tranny still under warranty? Hope so.

If you end up having to replace the mounts anyway, which in many cases you do with a tranny replace, the price for these is almost what you'll pay for OEM mounts.
