can anyone elaborate on how the TL S felt after installing a CT icebox w/ an otherwise stock set up ie stock headers and exhaust w/ just the icebox.

im very interested.

I would search the 2nd GEN TL forum or create a post there to get better responses. You can also check http://comptechusa.com and look at their Dynos.

The Icebox makes the most power out of all the intakes on the market. It looks stock, is quiet, but adds about 10 hp. Check www.comptechusa.com for the dyno.

Wrong section for that question


SEARCH but, to answer the question the basic bolt on setup is intake/headers/exhaust. On a 02 TLS you should see 20-30WHP from the headers alone, that is probably the best bang for your buck. Comptech icebox I believe is around 8-12whp.

It's an intake but not a tubular intake like the AEM. It is a cold air box. It actually makes more power than any of the other intakes on the market.
