I will be ordering a set, quick question. any recommendations on how to trim the kit so just the red portions of the housing are covered? I want to leave the turn signal and reverse light clear..i think that would look nice on my WDP. do they make bendable plastic ruler or something? better to cut while on the car or off the car? etc

you can try the painters masking tape, put like 5 or 6 layers on top of eachother and it will create enough of a wall to guide your knife.
and for the rear lights, is the 02-03 any different than the 99-01? in fact, if anyone can just show me the pictures of the rear ends. i think the previous owner of my TL put on a 02-03 tail light but im not 100%, cuz im really interested in this kid

thanks for the tip. the photo above appears to be the 99-01 tails. the 99-01 tails have a yellow lens for the turn signals with clear bulb..the 02-03 tails have a clear lens for the turn signal with yellow bulb. many 99-01 TL owners converted theirs to 02-03 tails since it is the same housing as far as fitment goes.

Sharp blade and score the film after the install. Dont cut all the way thru since there is no need for that.

Last question RockBlocker, is the pic above with the white TL showing the actual brake lights on or just the running lights since it looks like just one filament is lit up. If those are the running lights, then it shows pretty good in the day time, my biggest concern.
