Who does a good job of tinting including windshield??

I already posted on regional but there isn't much exposure if any

so.

my windshield is almost 7 years old and has 7 years worth of stone chip..
While replacing it, I thought I'd get it "clear" tinted with either 3M Crystalline 70 or 90 OR Llumar Air Blue 80.

the thing is. I can't find a shop that will do it.
also i think it'd be easier for the shop if they can just install the tint on the windshield first THEN put the windshield on the car....

--------------------------------
and while i'm at the tint shop.. I would like to get rid of this annoying tint that don't even block much heat and at 30%.

my car currently has that ugly rear quarter glass tint and I cant' stand it anymore

you can try checking livingsocial or groupon for deals near you for those who would be willing to do the work you request.

sorry that the regional thread didn't give you the results you were looking for.

We just had my wife's MDX windshield tinted with Llumar Air Blue 80%. The tint guy did a really great job. Can't really tell there is tint on the windshield unless you look for it. Hope it helps to cut down on the heat in the summer.

You're going to need to simply shop this by checking out several of the shops in your area. Pick with one with name brand film, and that you trust. Your windshield will be a bit expensive--probably over $200 alone because of the installation time because of the curve.

I'm no expert, but they have to glue the windshield in and have the glass adhere to the frame. You don't want to try to glue onto window film.

My tint guy charged $120 to do the windshield with the Air Blue.

Moved this thread to Regions section and am deleting your other one here.

I'm sorry but if we allow you to do it then we're gonna have to let everyone do it and we're trying to keep the 3GTL area as organized as possible.

Thanks for your understanding.
