Well everyone its about that time of the year. I've searched the forum and found many pictures of the last Stone Mountain Mega Meet. It was Amazing to say the least!!! There were about 15 Azine members (with their families), huge BBQ cookout, and a cruise after wards. Not to mention several photo shoot opportunities. Hopefully we will have some out of state members again.

To ensure we have enough time to prep and coordinate for this large meet, we will shoot for a Saturday in May. This will also allow the option for out of state Azine members to make hotel reservation and to safely drive back home on Sunday. If you all have any specific questions, please post them in this thread and we'll be sure to get them answered. After, we decide on a date we will start a list of attendee's shortly after.


Essentials about the Stone Mountain Mega Meet:

TIME: We will meet up in the park between 12pm to 1pm (there is a $10 entrance fee per vehicle)

I can't make May 14th since that's the day of the Dunwoody Beer Festival. I can't miss that since I was mistaken for the official photographer of the event last year! All other dates I can make, but I had chosen the 21st.

Also, the 21st is the date of our graduation so that day is out for me as well.

 

Wow, you can't catch a break at all, huh? I just hope whatever date we settle on won't be too hot or humid.

Haha.....well we all know you take killer photos! I'm excited about this mega meet after seeing pics of the last one in 2009. The BBQ and all the professional photo shoots were amazing!!!

Nice! Bring the RSX with you since that'll be an awesome photo op! We just need someone with a TSX, RDX, MDX, and RL to complete the Acura family line up lol. I left out the ZDX on purpose.

Those pics from 2 years ago was actually taken by a former member who had the supercharger in his SSM TL. I only had a point and shoot. lol

I've been thinking about getting a "real camera" after seeing yours and they photo's it takes. I know they are pricey but they say a picture is worth a 1,000 words....haha

I just bought an IS300 two days ago and they guy was using that money to buy an GS430. These are ballin cars!!

 

Donnie - you can buy a good used DSLR camera like mine pretty cheap off of Craigslist. Mine is a Canon EOS 40D and they're going for around $600 for the body. You can start off with a Canon Rebel for a lot cheaper and that includes the lens. And everything looks better after it's been Photochopped.

 

I'm not voting because my schedule is always kind of floating out there.

When you guys do set a date, I hope to make it. I'll show up in my Hai-un-da-ee.

I never thought about craigslist. I'm going to check some out tonight. I'm playing with the IS in the garage now. Debadged the rear, independent fog light mod, and about to start blacking out the bumper lights with some vinyl.

May 7th is Formula Drift at Road Atlanta. I'll be up there. I voted for the 14th, and will more than likely be out of town on the 21st. 28th is memorial day weekend and the park will be PACKED I'm sure.

Havent bought anything yet. Looking for an E46 M3, 335i coupe, or Toyota supra. I loved my Tl, it was awesome, but I drove my gf's BMW the other day and remembered how much I love RWD.

I will be attending Import Face Off, me and some guys might be getting together on Pleasant Hill, Exit 104 at the BP gas station to drive up. I'll see if they want to do a huge caravan up there with Azine.

Hey thanks Dr. Panda, I looked at that supra. Pretty sweet, just I don't think I can bring myself to spend 20k on a 16 year old car The more I think about it, the more likely it's going to be an E46 M3. I'd love to see how the TL does in a race with a stock M3, I'd bet the TL would win with some exhaust.
