What's up people! I just purchased a 2008 TL S-Type. Gray/Black. Previous vehicle was a 2005 bright yellow Chevy Colorado...so bit of a change. Had it for 2 days and getting used to all the system controls. I'd post a couple pics but the fiancee has decided SHE needed to drive it. I'll get it back tomorrow cause it needs to be detailed. The dealship had just got it in when I bought it. They told me I could bring it back to get it done, but I'd rather spend a day getting to know every inch of my new toy

Looking forward to getting some great advice from the site!

Welcome fellow South Floridian. I've been seeing more and more TL's and Type S's on my twice weekly trips up to the Gardens (from Delray :/) and have been wondering how many of these owners are actually on AZ! Since we're all in the general area, anybody here recommend (or work at) a car audio / tinting shop? I own a 2006 TL with stock tint, so im definitely in the market for privacy . Plus, I''ve added a 1200w monoblock and a sub @ 1 ohm in the trunk and am looking to do the big three upgrade. Im pretty sure I have all the parts, but my buddy is a bit unsure doing it himself since he's never done it for the acura. Im buying a BlueTop (if I can find a model that'll fit in the casing AND under the hood) for my car at the beginning of October) and will be installing the PXAMG iSimple unit the same day as the new batter.

PM me if you can help a fellow AZiner out!

We all use Elite Tinting in Delray Beach just west of Federal off Linton. One guy here had his tint done by Elite in 2001 and it is still perfect. Definitely not flea market tint. Audio Advisors off Palm Beach Lakes and Custom Car Works in Delray beach come recommended by some of the Techs here. Need anything else in the Boynton, Delray area, just ask.

Thanks for the tip PJ. I'll definitely be making a trip to the Delray shops soon for quotes. Funny thing happened this morning..got the car washed after class and noticed i lost the outer door clips that would be next to the handle on front passenger side and rear driver side. Already ordered the parts from acuraoemparts, but im not sure I'll be able to do this job myself. All that's left of the clips is the metal piece that is secured to the door, the white piece is gone (nobody can find them at the car wash :/). Anybody else have this problem and was able to get the clips back on themselves? If so, how did you do it?

Bernie was a HUGE help at Custom Car Works! It did take a bit longer than i had hoped, but they did have to grind down the corner of the battery case to get the post terminal as flush as possible. But then again, 2hrs of labor for a big 3 upgrade isnt all that bad, i suppose. I supplied the wire and the battery post terminals, and he supplied the ring terminals.. After parts and labor, everything came out to a cool 150! I highly recommend these guys to anyone in the south county area for your car audio needs! I will be posting pictures of the finished work later tonight
