Hey Guys I wanted to introduce my self my name is Brandon and I live in Norcross and I just bought a 07 NBP type S, it’s my 3rd Acura. I had a 06 DPG TSX before my type s and the only mod I had was wheels. I plan on doing a lot more to the TL. I’ve already ordered some Forgestars, waiting on those. I would love to meet you local guys or come to any meets. I’ve gone to the Wild Bills meet a few times. Also would love to have someone help me with mods I really don’t know how to do shit.
Let me know when you guys are going to meet.
List of mods I want to accomplish.
CAI
Cleared head lights
Wheels
Springs or Coils
Tail lights from ACk
Possibly A SPEC kit

the previous owner put a p2r clutch DISC ONLY, with the rest of the parts still oem, it grabbed real nice but a performance disc with the rest of the clutch set being stock is not a good idea, it's better to get the complete set (p2r only sells the disc) so im getting a exedy complete set and hope the tranny is still good, cause i had to drive the car home, with the wheels on this car, they would have been stolen for sure, and try getting your intake runners ported, it's going to be real hard to take it easy on your car, it accelerates SOOOOOO effortlessly

Thinking about picking up some Stechs and was wondering if anybody would be willing to help install them or knows of a place that would install them for cheap?
If one of ya'll helped I'd definitely compensate you for your time. I just would really not like to pay a shop $300.

You guys have some very nice slabs of pavement there in Atlanta. So wide with tunnels. I enjoyed driving around when i was there.
Saw some TLs too.

Ended up buying the Stechs last night. haha. Found some that were practically new and got a great deal on them. I had thought about going with coils but for the height that I want, springs seem like the better choice.
I'll probably rethink the coils when the shocks go out.

What is everyone's favorite road to romp on down there?

Perimeter Summit, of course!
For really nice winding roads, I usually like to go up to the north Georgia mountains by Helen and Blairsville. You won't get good winding roads in the 'burbs or city here.
Used to live in the area, but not too far away. Mainly work there now.

Trying to see if any ATL/GA folks have had the auto to 6-speed manual swap/conversion done on their TL or CL's.
My second automatic transmission is done for in my '01 CL Type S, so I have decided that it's time to finally get around to doing the 6-speed manual swap.
Would love to talk to anyone who has done it before, so I can get some advise on how to source parts, what to do, etc. I haven't had time to look around Acurazine, but I plan on spending some time this week looking through posts so that I can find some more information.
Anyhow, if anyone has had the swap done, I would love to meet up and discuss what all you had done, what obstacles you ran into, etc.
Willing to drive to meet up, and willing to pick up the bill for some coffee/food/drinks/whatever if you are interested in chatting and helping me.
I plan on getting the actual swap done @ Drivers Automotive in Marietta, already talked to Alben about it, he just said I need to spend some time sourcing all the correct parts so that the swap itself goes according to plan/goes well.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!

^ Nice setup and glad you had found the regional thread. Too bad you didn't sell the S techs earlier or Ross would've had them by now. As for the items you had listed, you'll have to list them in the Black Market if you haven't done so already.

Wow Kasey, going to rock the Forgestars huh? They look good. What offset are you considering in that size?

Wow, those are some high offsets. You like the tucked look? I'm still saving up for my wheels purchase. Hopefully I can get it next year.
