soooooo.....my old TL has been totaled. 3 weeks after the guy bought it from me. From what he told me, some girl lost control of her car on the interstate and slammed into him, totaling the car.

Monthly meets will be hard to do since it's hard for people to come out lol. More like a quarterly meet is in order.

Joe - most of the old timers are no longer Acura owners except a few of us. And you're right, it was back in '08 that we had a HUGE turn out there. The cruises we had heading back home were great.
We have 3 weeks to plan. I'll put this in my signature in case there are lurkers in the 3G forum lol.

So glad that my car wasn't slammed. Ran into some problems on the way to the national AcuraZine meet Saturday morning. First, I ran over half of a deer in the road in the middle of the night but that only pushed my air dam back a bit and it ended up messing up my alignment later on. Then a rock flung onto my windshield in Missouri, causing a star pattern, and ended up spreading vertically later. There goes my fund towards more mods. FML

Yeah, I have the full lip kit on. I posted 2 not so good pics of the current mods in my picture album. I'll have to do a proper photo shoot when I can get it fully detailed. 
The meet was great! Next year, they're going to let us run our cars on the Kansas motor speedway! It'll definitely be worth the trip. You should bring your M and enter the non-Acura contests.

Cool, you have the base aspec lip. Definitely different! Damn, I guess that's how my TL-S would have look slammed with the lip kit....lol.
Sounds like a lot of people showed up. Wow next year they are even having other makes come there. I might have to check it out, if I am not deployed again next year...lol. I'm in the process of looking for a nice quad exhaust setup for my car now....lol.

I went to bid on this one twice on Ebay and winning both times with the highest of the bids being $17.5k but the guy would not budge less than $20k. I seen last week he had it posted for $20k (third time posting) and now its for $20k or best offer. And he's not too far from GA. It has been on Ebay for quite awhile now.

Donnie - It definitely need spacers with the stock wheels lol.
They had 2 Scions, a CTS-V, and a bunch of Hondas there. The trip won't be much of a drive for you as opposed to coming from GA if you were still stationed in Texas lol. Make a sound clip of the new exhaust when you get it. I thought infinitis always have awesome stock sounding exhausts.
Ross - you might want to check out CarMax to see how much some are going for nearby. I've looked at autotrader.com, cars.com, AOL Autos, cargurus.com, and other sites before picking my current one. If you don't care about auto transmissions, you'll find a dime a dozen of those as opposed to the 6MT.

Ty, I still dont know how you drive a slammed car like that....lol. I am tempted to try with my car now for aesthetic reasons only, but I dont want to worry about the roads.
I planned on if I would get rid of my M45, I would look into a 2G CTS-V or 07-08 Alpina B7, but I'm content with what I have. I do miss my TL like crazy, but I dont trust the people here in El Paso so no toy for me.

Donnie, my car isn't considered slammed compared to some of the people on this forum lol. I have a 1 finger gap all around without camber kits. I need to get some now that my alignment is still off after that encounter with the deer. When I get the camber kits, I'm going to eliminate the finger gap lol.
