How offen do you guys have meets ? I'm living in shelby and looking to check out other people acuras in the area sometime.

First Saturday of every month is Cars&Coffee at Northlake mall (Panera Bread parking lot). There should be an Acura meet coming up sometime soon. We just have to pick a date and place

Just checking in with you guys. I spent 3 weeks on the road (2 weeks in DC and 1 in Canada.) Had an amazing time as a solo tripper in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick hiking, driving, snapping pics and relaxing. Never felt so empowered to do so much at work now 
Whens the next CLT AZ meet?

new business development. going back to work for my cousin at mit computers ... a company we started back in 1997 when we were in high school! the company has grown quite a bit since i left in 2005, but is now experiencing some growing pains.
the job will amount to a lot of hard work, but it's pretty simple. identify locales for new store fronts, make them profitable, and move on. i've done this type of thing before so hopefully it wont take too long before the bonuses starting coming in.

As for an AZ specific meet, not one solidified yet... but keep an eye on the Southeast Region forum for those

As Alex said... the Cars & Coffee meet is something we do the first Saturday of every month. It's not an Acura or Acurazine meet, it's a show that happens every month and we just meet up there.

Just show up and park wherever; you'll be able to find/meet up with the other guys fairly easily. Most of the time, we park in the lot for the restaurant across from the main lot, but on a good day, that lot fills up with cars, too.
Oh, and bring the kid...kids love cars.

Is it in the same lot where you guys meet or is that a meeting spot?Is there a certin time you guys meet or is it differnt every month?Sorry for all the questions,I would like to come by sometime if I'm free for one of those saturdays.Right now the wife works doubles on saturdays and sundays,So my 2yr old son would have to roll with me and I would'nt be able to stay any lenth of time.cuz when he's ready to go,its time to go.There is nothing happening down here so I would like to stop by some time.

. You'll typically see anywhere from 3 to 6 or 7 Honda's or Acura's parked together. Usually when I get there my wife and I just walk around and look at the cars. When we notice people gathering by the Honda's or Acura's we head over to the other lot to meet whoever is there.And yes... bring your son... the kids love looking at the cars. There are typically kids of all ages there... from infants to teens.

I think you guys should set up the next meet in Raleigh or even Fayetteville. I understand most of you guys live in Charlotte but we should have a change of scenery. Just an idea. (Charlotte is a long boring drive)

^ Well, we do not setup the Cars & Coffee meets. Those are setup by the folks from Cars & Coffee in conjunction with the Northlake Mall. So, if you want to attend Cars & Coffee in Raleigh you'll need to contact them directly and buy the rights and start your own C&C show there! Otherwise, you'll have to head our way.
That said, it does not mean other meets formed by AZ members cannot occur around Raleigh... however, this thread is about Cars & Coffee which is in Charlotte.
Feel free to organize a Raleigh meet and start a new thread about it in this forum!!

Where can I get rid of/sell my catalytic converter/mid-muffler/resonator from the TL? Preferably sell
I've called a few scrap yards and they only give me about $40 for the converter, I thought it was worth a little more??

hey guys, just to give you a quick rundown of my situation (its ramblings so hell ill ramble on)
i was down in charlotte last fall for school, then things happened in my life that caused me to take a semester off and i ended up living in wake forest, nc for 4 months, then moved home to nj for 4 months, but now i am FINALLY back on track with my life and am back in charlotte for school!
anyway, due to my 4 day a week school schedule i am having trouble finding a place that will hire me for fridays and saturdays, and the occasional sundays. (my school schedule is spread out throughout the days so a shift before or after class is basically a no go.)
it sucks, because im living off the money i made over the summer, and now that im all settled down with moving and starting class i need to start earning income. it seems nobody wants a part time weekend person.
ive applied at the usual places (grocery stores, retail, etc. ) no such luck. id prefer not work work in a restaurant. i have only been here 2 weeks, but im feeling the pressure and im not too keen on running to my family for pocket money. (they pay my tuition already). so basically im just asking for locals to the area if anyone has a suggestion maybe a place ive never heard of,
i would appreciate the help.
I go to UNC Charlotte so i live within that area.

^Very true, but for the most part, the same cars always show up...I can seem them again next month 
. Plus, the time of the SC meet is MUUUUUCH better than the time for C&C...decent people are in bed when C&C is going on .

^ Yeah, it's pretty much the same people... but I get to meet more and more each time. Plus, I haven't been since August, so there may be some different people this time. Seems to me that many people may be sleeping, but the rich ones with the expensive rides are awake!
