Maybe we should have plan a field trip to Acura to look at the new TLX when it shows up.

Finally saw the new acura commercial on tv last night.
Aired Out TLS
Ok so with the March meet coming up, I'm not sure yet if I will be able to make it.
Went to Winston Salem cancer hospital last night to see my Uncle and he lost his fight with cancer. Talked to him for awhile and all he did was node and groan because he couldn't talk.
Liver and kidneys was bad so the bone marrow transplant was a no go.
He fought the cancer for 3 years and I guess the time finally came. He reached for my hand and I went to hold his as well. The saddest part is when the doctors put him on life support and then I realize that's pretty much it.
Sorry for the update , but just wanted to give you guys a heads up before the meet.

Sorry to hear that, Bee. I've lost several relatives to cancer, and it's never pleasant. Don't worry about the meet, there will always be others. I hope things work out as best they can.

As a side note, looks like C&C Charlotte is back on track officially. Hopefully that brings at least some happiness.

Sorry to hear about that Bee.
That's good news about cars and coffee.
Had 2 close calls with preeyuses while in Raleigh. First was almost a side swipe on the left, and the second was almost a side swipe on the right.

I'm fairly certain that was it.

This guy TsukubaSpec from Circuit Garage is doing WORK up in Canada. Check out the front overfenders for s2000 this guy is prototyping right now...He says ignore the front fitment, they're actually the rear wheels, but are on the car just to roll it around the shop.
I might just have to run both F&R overfenders that he makes...Then I could run silvia spec'd wheels lol.

Hey man, I definitely understand what you're going through. I just lost my Dad to cancer last Sunday. My Dad was in the hospice home in Winston a lot for the past few months and it sounds like your uncle is going through the same things.
Words can't describe the level of pain you go through. I live in the Ballantyne area and if you ever need someone to talk to, please don't hesitate to hit me up.
Shoot me a PM and I'll give you my number. I know it somewhat comforting just knowing others that understand what you're going through. It would probably help me also. I hope to hear from you man, stay strong. I know it's beyond hard.

On the plus side my new switchback front corners came in while I was gone. They are much brighter and I think they look much better all around. Hopefully these will last longer.
I'm also waiting on FedEx to deliver my Type-S Tail lights. It's been sitting in the Charlotte FedEx warehouse sine Friday w/ no further progress in getting here. Seriously guys, it's almost noon today and nothing.....

I mean...I can't exactly see the guy driving it, but if it's a shorter guy then I guess it's him? I haven't seen a single other lighter silver, older GTR with NC plates around at all.

Everybody here would drive that car downtown on a Saturday night in the summer, valet it in front of the place, and get out proud as hell.

That's the coolest R8 I've ever seen. It's worth a lot more now since penguins are so awesome.

Hope you get it figured out and fixed soon. I know that's gotta suck.
Got the new switchbacks installed. Much brighter, and they seem to work better. The last set I had had a weird glitch where it would strobe white just before flashing amber. (amber-off-amber-off)
