I've never doubted your skills, Eric. Jason is talented too but he's a sloth when it comes to editing and posting pictures.

Thanks.

When I look back through the photos from last year at vir, it's evident my photo skills have progressed which is good. I'm happy about it.

Jason has regressed. Posting cell phone pics of his advans installed. Sloth indeed.

Your photography has progressed as well Tyler.

Thanks dood.

I enjoy taking pictures but I know they aren't as good as they could be since I have low-end lenses. Hopefully later in life I can afford the good stuff

I mean hell, you're doing a lot better than I did when I was your age. I didn't even have a dslr then I don't think.

Keep it up and keep shooting.

Going home next weekend and gunna try to talk my dad into the new wheels

I think I've finally set my mind on the 19x9.5 with 35 offset

I'm hoping to run 235/40/19 on them.. Does anybody think ill have any issues with that?

Planning to roll fenders also

If you do 19s, you need to stick with a 35-series sidewall, not 40. The overall aspect ratio of the new wheels and tires should be as close as possible to stock.

So if you do 19x9.5 +35, look into getting 235/35/19 tires. Tires for 19s will just about always be more expensive than tires for 18s, so keep that in mind. If you wanted to get 40-series sidewalls for more rubber, consider getting 18s.

Gotcha! I meant 35 I just couldn't find the comment from when I asked originally a few weeks ago haha!

so with 235/35/19 i shouldn't run into any trouble right?

I don't know of anyone with a fender roller for rent but if you don't mind paying to have it done you can get it done at Euro-wise in Charlotte. That is where I had mine done.

I would just beat on the inner fender with a hammer. That's what I did. The rear ones can take the abuse all day.

Sometimes you have to if you're clearing by millimeters. I did it to mine with a polymer mallet + towel so as to prevent cracking the paint.

It's a lot easier to pull out the hammer and beat on it when you're pissed off at the tire continuously rubbing.

Everybody that knows what's good will be watching Lamborghini racecars in Virginia.

People that don't know what's good will be elsewhere.

Yeah just keep banging on it with a hammer until it's far enough way from the tire that it doesn't rub.

The front ones just pull on them in a yank like manner haha.

Oh...

The new nsx will be on display at VIR as well.

But yeah don't change your plans or anything for your weekend. Just go to cars and coffee and take care of your puppies and play golf.

You also really should carefully heat up the paint when doing fender work too so as not to crack it.

Eric, any idea how far VIR is from Virginia tech? I'll be at vt visiting a friend and if it's not too far maybe I could talk him into going for the day.

I glanced at the map and it looks like the same distance from Raleigh to Greensboro, but with no direct route linking Blackburg and Danville though.
