Where else in Carolina is cool enough for cool stuff? Besides, maybe, the beach.

A lot of my old friends from high school are trickling into Charlotte one by one, so it's possible you could end up in Charlotte as well Tyler.

I might be pursuaded to count Asheville as 'cool'.

I'm sure it is. It just doesn't feel like a 'city' to me. The area (Raleigh/Cary/Durham) is kind of decentralized.

I hear they have a pretty good music scene though.

As long as it imporves drive-time traffic on and off of 521.

It's at 5pm on sunday (today). In other words, this meet hasn't happened yet. BK and Terran said they want to go around 6.

Really? Hmmm...I only know of one band from Raleigh. Almost everyone comes here. Honestly, I'd say more bands hit Greenville/Spartanburg than Raleigh/Durham. Just my observation of tour schedules.... Local band wise, maybe you should get out more...lots going on here .

Nothing will ever improve 77 to Providence on 485...unless they make it ten lanes now...which they're not, so by the time the construction is complete, growth will have increased to accommodate accordingly...nothing will change.

Exactly ! Actually it will get worse ! It will be just like the headache thats at concord mills ! All the expanding and road construction they are doing on 85 made traffic worse and its not even close to being done . Its been almost a year since they started it and all it has done has made things worse right now and by the time is done , growth will be up and it will be just like it was before with only 2 lanes .

I'm proud of her and wanted to share ....

.... but if this picture turns up anywhere else, I'll ban everyone of you leg-humpers.

I suggest to all you college-aged AZ'ers out there, get on a semester exchange (i.e. same as your school tuition rates) program if you can.

This hasn't cost us any extra cash. Regular NCSU tuition (which would've been spent anyhow), she got an AU$5000 scholarship from the school there which covers housing and other expenses, she's working which takes care of spending money, cell phone, etc. Only thing I'm out is the plane ticket which we got with frequent flyer miles.

I don't like thin hamburgers that look like they have been run over by a semi truck. Burgers should be as thick as a steak or even thicker. Last one I had was 3/4lb and 1.5in thick.

So you like a thick piece of meat? :ghey:

Usually I'm the same way with burgers BUT eating 4-5 of those mini burgers is a whole lot more fun than eating one huge one. Plus who doesn't want to get their hamburgers in a box?!?!?!

Then you can build stuff with the boxes!
