Not really. Been out in the heat too much today...I'm drained.

 

Well as it turns out I just had something come up this evening so I can't do it anyways. I will see those that feel like braving the heat at C&C this weekend. It is supposed to be 102 on Saturday

 

I'll be at C&C for sure this weekend.

 

What time does C&C end ? I have an appointment at 10 to get my window fixed ( tint related ) I was thinkin of swinging by after I get that takin care of

 

C&C is from 8-10:30am

aahhhhh well that sucks ! well if anyone wants to get up for lunch maybe , ill be in the charlotte area . Hopefully picking up my memphis comps from the audio shop tomorrow and possibly ordering another set.

 

Do u have a recommendation on an audio shop? I also live in concord. Had Freeman's give me an estimate on some work but that's really the only place I've gone.

 

What kind of work are you looking to get done?

 

Nothing crazy right off the bat, just had to pay lots of money for my sons soccer leagues lol. Bunch of little things tho, wiring the cars to put in amps that are collecting dust and troubleshooting XM/iPod issues, checked the fuses and they are fine. Also installing a couple of remote starts before the cold weather hits eventually as well. I keep trying to get the hubs to do the work but he's a trained engine/undercarriage mechanic not much for electrical work-- damn that N.T.I., still payin back those loans for nothin hahaha

 

I too went to freemans and its hit or miss their depending on who you talk to and they always try to up sell you and deter you away from what your wanting . But if their is one place i do recommend , its Bosworth Audio in Charlotte. I went in with questions and got the answers . Really cool guy and he knows his stuff. They can do everything you want and more .

Went to C&C this morning, took the camera out the bag and camera was on and killed the battery. Shit.

Was gonna maybe drive-by the streetwise drift meet at zmax later when the sun goes down. Maybe try to catch some nice rides out there.

Any clue on what time streetwise is over? I went on their website a couple days ago & only saw a start time. Wanted to go but won't have a babysitter til this evening.

I'd do it soon, unless you want to be charged out the a-hole lol. I live 5 min away, but Every once in a while I stay at the hotels on Concord Mills as a little getaway. once last year I tried to do so when NHRA was in town-- every single room in Concord was booked already. And you don't want to have to stay on the Charlotte side of the speedway. Trust me. Lol.

 

I'm assuming even once it's over they'll still be lots of stuff goin on. Last night I attempted to go to Jack in the Box and was stuck in lots of traffic, every1 acting like speed racer lol

 

Yea probally ...... Well you know they all hang out at the cookout thats right their and they "say" they go race somewhere lol but i try to stay away from that little section cuz i get dumbasses wanting to race lol , the family car might have to put the smack down on'em lol

 

Me too. I have NY road rage as it is, those kids just set me over the top lol... It just sucks as those are pretty much the closest fast food resturants to me and as of yesterday I have went on cooking strike! As of 2 days ago, Ants have invaded my kitchen & I am refusing to cook until my husband hires an exterminator, one can only go so far with a can of raid lol

 

HAHAHA i know what ya mean. Chic Fil A is right their too or even better Punchies Diner is close too and they got some pretty good food. Theirs another cookout a little further up in Kannapolis, it doesnt get really crowded like the concord one does. I usually go to that one more plus gives me an excuse to drive lol

 

Omgoodness. Would it be too fatass to say I love u for telling me ab punchies? LOL. I pass it all the time but never thought to go in- until now. Checked out the website & their menu looks so freaking scrumptious? Fried pickles & sweet potato fries? Hell yes. LOL

Hahahahaha na , not at all ! Ive been eating their for quite some time . They got good food . I like their Philly cheese steak , its hard to find a good philly down here ! When i went back to NY, i think all i did was eat ! Sooo much food that i have missed ! Like good pizza and being able to buy it by the slice !

 

Well if you are looking for good pizza by the slice, try DiMaggios. It's right on the corner where Poplar Tent meets Davidson Highway... And you want to talk about eat? I had Fam come in from NY today and charged them rent-- a whole freakin White Castle Crave Case. I'm about to start selling the burgers for $5 a pop LOL

I made sure that I stopped at WC in Missouri on my way to the Nat'l meet last month. Its been a long time since I had it

I grew up on Alfredos Pizza on Post Ave in Westbury. I try to go there every time Im in NY.

 

I had an hour long convo with my neighbor from jersey the other day about it LOL. He said that apparently Krystal's has the same type of burgers and they have set some type of boundaries as to where they can locate, as not to have a competition (don't know if it's true so don't mark my words but there is no Krystal's anywhere near me either lol).

The only Alfredo's I know was off Hempstead turnpike, and if that's the one you loved you will be saddened to know its closed I believe lol. I'd constantly drive forever to Piesanos in East Meadow tho, they have a chicken bruschetta pizza that is to.die.for LOL. Ok we must stop talking about food, I am beginning to salivate and that is not a hot look hahahha

 

I've had Krystals before and they arent as good as white castle . The only place i know of that has a krystals in GA . You can find one in downtown augusta . If any of you guys live near arrowwood rd and 49 , you can to to this place called luigi's. That place is awesome and some goooood pizza . Everything their is good !
