Got hacked 23 days ago...long story. It's back up as of an hour ago or so. Doing other stuff right now, but I know what I'll be doing tomorrow...if I remember how to play my games .

It was big news a while back...been all over the tech news/blogs since. The last few pages in the Sony thread in Gaming have been about it. Sony failed epically on this one, from start to finish.

I'm not 100%, but I might be parting out soon. Right now I'd put the odds at 75%. I've got the following:

The TL doesn't cross any thing off my list, so as much as I love it, it will ultimately have to go. Got a bunch of things going on at the moment that I'm waiting to settle (and I'm growing impatient, too). Once I know where everything stands, I'll either part out soon or not at all.

Tyler - yep, V1. I know you've been wanting that for a while, too. I had planned on giving you first crack at it. And no 5.0. Test drove one and was thoroughly unimpressed. I'm looking at a Charger RT. I really wanted the Challenger, but after driving the Charger, I just can't bring myself to do it. If I had never driven the Charger, I'd have been ok, but not now .

Mem - Don't know of anything going on Friday , but there are tons of bars and clubs, if that's your thing. Tails have a gunmetal bezel with clear light and reflector sections that have been lightly tinted. They basically match the style of the sidemarkers. And mine don't have a visible cut line when you open the trunk, either...no half-ass work from me. There's a thread from when I did them in the picture forum somewhere.

I didn't/don't, but I didn't like the Mustang, and the Challenger just doesn't even come close to the Charger inside.

 

Jack, in a few years the Challenger may get the Charger interior. Think about it, most Dodge products have the same interiors.

No, I want a muscle car with whiz-bang tech gizmos...you know, 2000 tech like navigation and a back up camera. I like the Challenger's interior, but I hate the nav screen and lack of a back up camera. The Charger has a whole new system (which might trickle down, Tyler, if there's a Gen 2 Challenger), and it's light years better than the old one in the Challenger/old Charger. Plus I can get the Charger set up exactly like I want it no problem, whereas I would have to pay a lot for a bunch of crap I don't want on the Challenger to get the few things I do want (that should be standard these days). As for a nice interior...hell, I want cloth . Dodge needs to make the Challenger a two-door Charger like it used to be; however, that most likely won't happen until Gen 2 in 2014 (2015 model).

 

Sounds like there is no car out there in American Muscle category the meets your wants. Maybe you should put this item back on the list and try out a different one on the to do list first.

 

What didn't you like about the Mustang? I personally don't like many of the lower models either. I don't like them till you get up to ones above the 5.0. Can't have those middle fog or high beams whatever they are.

Also preferably the projector headlights they make it look so much better.

I've had four doors for 13 years, I don't have a problem with it...it's actually more functional and easier to deal with than a coupe. If the only "concession" is four doors and it has everything else I want how I want it, I'm totally good.

And American V8 > * on the list. If I was just as good with something else on the list, I'd keep the TL and go to town on it. Besides, if I ever get a vert, it'll be a coupe ...sounds like a perfect second car to me .

 

Agree that a Mustang has to be a GT Premium or higher with the second lights removed. HIDs are one of the things that I feel should be standard on all cars at this point, so they're a must.

As for why not the Mustang, I like the Charger and Challenger better than the Mustang exterior-wise. The Charger is better interior-wise, as well. The Mustang also seemed slower. I know what Jim said about it, but still, it gives up a good bit of torque to the 5.7. Plus, the actual numbers aren't that far off...tenths of a second, something I'll never notice since I don't track my car.

 

I'm in love with the new Charger.

I would have to use all. Only reason kit is available is a guy is sold his car before the kit arrived. Took a year to get it from Japan. New it is like 4500 shipped.
