don't know any in OC. but if you're down for a drive, come up to my area. very known reputable place is Caifornia Tint located in Rosemead. they do a quality job and it's lifetime warranty if your tint ever messes up! to tint all 5 windows is roughly $110-130.
Go in with a couple friends and get a discount. They do moleskin too if you need it.

i have talked to best tint "Jin" and they do seem like they know what they are doing. he promotes his highest level tint which can do wonders and has a nice demo he has in the shop. looks pretty impressive. i cant review because i have not used them yet.
why...
because i cant afford them. their tint price is way up there. they have 3 levels of tint. i forgot the exact pricing but the highest level is up in the multiple-hundredsssss, not just in the single-hundred. the lowest is still pretty expensive as well. maybe if im rich ill try his out but for my budget i cant right now.
there is another guy down the road south of them. dont remember the location's name but he is also on beach blvd in stanton. the location is much smaller and reflects the price. full all around tint is about 120ish. i have had his tint on a car that has parked outside for about 4 years and its still good no bubbles and has not turned purple. nice guy. more within my budget.

I know this thread is a couple weeks old but I wanted to share my experience with California Tint. I had my windshield done and had them layer more tint onto my rear window as it was lighter than my sides. The rear window came out fine, no complaints. However, the windshield had some issues. It looked like there was dust between the film and window so I called up the shop and talked to Peter. He had made it clear he wouldn't warranty my windshield because it is illegal to tint (which didn't make sense because the front sides are too but they warranty those). Since it had only been a week since I got it done he told me to come in the next Wednesday. I came in the next Wednesday and he agreed that it needed to be redone but insisted that he couldn't do it that day. I was a little annoyed since its about a half hour drive for me and he told me to come that day. So anyways he tells me to come back the following week and that it would take him 4-5 hours. I called up my brother in law who owns a tint shop on the east coast and he told me a strip and retint on the windshield should take about an hour and a half on a 3G tl. At this point I could tell Peter was just trying to make it inconvenient so that I wouldn't come back. But I went ahead and went back to get it done. This time he tells me it'll take him 6-8 hours. So I called his bluff and told him I'd sit and wait for it. He told me the stripping of the tint would take several hours even though I had seen him go and strip tint off of cars that had been there for 10 minutes. After an hour and a half of the car sitting in the parking lot, one of the guys goes and rips the tint off. Then the car sits for another two hours as Peter happily puts other customers in front of me in line and gets them on their way in no time. So when I confront him about not working on my car he says something like, "well you're already ahead of schedule so you're lucky that you'll be getting done in less than 8 hours" to me. Finally they retint it and I get on my way. Also, another thing to note is these guys are sloppy and a little careless with the exterior of the car. I found tons of random pieces of tint film in my car and they scratched up the pillars on the outside by carelessly leaning on the car. So now I've got some vertical scratches that won't buff out by hand. As you can probably tell, i will not be returning to California tint. They were unprofessional with me and peter was rude to me throughout the day whenever I had questions. Maybe I just had a bad experience but just figured I'd share it with my fellow Aziners.
Cliffs: -got windshield tinted at CA tint
-wasn't happy with outcome
-CA tint tried to make it inconvenient for me to get it redone
-went back to get it redone
-took an excessive amount of time on a pretty slow day there
-will never return to CA tint
i think its a hit or miss thing, my experience with them was fine, and i recommended my friend there and he was ok with it too. but i think that's usually the case with most shops...untill something goes wrong and you want to get something redone, then the shop does everything possible to make you not want to do it..
