Vacation advice/recommendations

Hi guys, my wife and i are expecting our first child at the end of May and we're looking to do one last vacation before the baby comes. We want somewhere hot and had San Diego in mind. Ideally i'd like to go somewhere close to the ocean and possibly with our own kitchen so we can do our own cooking for the week. We'll probably rent a car too. A friend suggested going just outside of the city which is fine by me as we'll have a car. We'd like something really nice as this will be the last vacation for a while! lol. If anyone knows of a good place to look into i'd love to hear about it. Thanks,

I see you and your wife are doing the "babymoon" thing. San Diego is a nice, warm place to be. There are many people that rent out their homes in SD for a weekend, or however long you need it for.

Maybe you should post directly in here, and ask the SD people?: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...47435&page=143

congrats!

I kno you asked for warm climates... but maybe renting a cabin in big bear? Its private, cozy, romantic, great view and a vacation away from everyday life. Just throwin it out there haha

If this is going to be your last vacation for a while, I would do http://www.grand-prix-monaco.com/for...x/program.html , but not if you're on a budget. That can be costly, but you'd never forget it. I did a GP of Germany few years back, what an experience that was.

sand diego is always nice i was just there last weekend my good friend lives there... check out rental houses in "Pacific Beach" area they have tons of rental houses right on the boardwalk its awesome nice places you can rent for the week and tons to do you will love it... last weekend weather was good id say around 70 at the beach....

bahamas are awesome also best bang for the buck went to Dominican Republic back in June at some adult only all inclusive resort that was only 6 months old it was the best all drinks and food included they even have a small fridge in the room with free snacks and drinks... weather was great beaches were wide and white sands all the people were friendly ... i have also been to hawaii/maui a few times but like i said best bang for the buck is bahamas and all inclusive... i am actually planning my next trip in june either going to costa rica or one of the southern most bahama islands
