Actually I went back to Best Window recently (month ago) and Carlos is back. He also honored his quoted price to me (quoted several months ago) for my second car. The second car only needed two windows tinted so the difference between the old/new price was pretty small.

Well, like I said I only wanted the front two windows done on my other car. They wanted $80 for the work but Carlos had quoted me $60 a while back which he honored.

I just called Carlos yesterday and he confirmed that it was $220/w moleskin. Damn, they jacked up the prices significantly.
Also, he mentioned that the lowest he would go on the fronts was 35%. What's up with that?
I wanted to go like 25% on the fronts. Anyone got Carlos to give in?

Tint Hunt
KING of PAIN. I'm from the SD area but have been pretty skeptical about tinting on my TL. I want to make sure I get it done right the first time. Where is BEST tinting...I visit the OC area every so often and wouldnt mind driving up there for the PERFECT tint.
thanks,
thanks,

Holy Old Thread Batman!!!!
Actually it's been almost a year with my tint and it still looks great. Best Window Tinting is off Jamboree and the 5 freeway in Tustin.

Any Ziners out there in the Philadelphia PA area get a nice tint job? Please tell where and how much? Also should I wait until the weather gets warm (spring) or does that not matter? Thank you!

At the time that most of us tinted our windows, they used SolarGard Non-Reflective (NR) True Grey tinting film. Details about the film can be found at their website: http://www.solargard.com/index./fuse...Non-Reflective

Are you saying that they use a different film as well?
Has anyone tried Best Window since Carlos has been gone? Curious if the new tinter is as good?
Thanks!

So anyone tried the new tinter at Best Window? Please chime in, thanks.

They no longer use 3M film because they said they were experiencing difficulty w/ the adhesive. They are now using a Carbon film by Suntech
Does anyone have any experience with this film?
Thanks.
