What film are you planning to go with?
3M has installers on their website...
This place has Huper Optik... http://www.clearcutadvantage.com/
edit: just noticed your other thread

Thread exists... but it's not exclusive to westside
https://acurazine.com/forums/socal-310/good-tint-shops-so-cal-727759/
CA Tint in Rosemead (prob a drive for you but well worth it)
4325 Rosemead Blvd.
Rosemead, CA 91770
626.287.2321
great prices - good quality work - call talk to him - make an appt then go - otherwise you better be there early on a weekend (at least 30+ min before they open)

Huper Optik is ceramic tint. Better grade with more heat resistance.
It also costs about 3x more.

Pics will come after the tint's all dry, still a few bubbles.
Price was $150 including moleskin. Keep in mind that's a CASH price. He'll charge you more if you do credit card.
The warranty is only 2 years on the moleskin, but it was less than $10 a door, so I'm not sweating it.
I've been there before with my last car and sent several of my friends there (including my fiance). You can't go wrong!
I think 30% is perfect on an AM with ebony interior. Looks practically black at nite, but let's just enough light through during the day as to not be that attractive to quota-hungry cops.

I haven driven my challenger since I had it tinted. But I looked at it last night when I ot home and noticed a small piece near the bottom corner of the window that looks to be torn. Might have to take it back to him this weekend. We'll see. It's not terrible.

Thai, yeah but early on a sat the drive isn't bad and any excuse to drive the challenger is a good one

Actually got in my car today...crisis averted, part of the rubber seal was flipped up and pressing on the window. Only LOOKED like a tear.
Tint is perfect and so was my cruise up PCH today...just wish there had been less traffic.

OK pics, sorry it took so long...also did have to have the driver side door redone...the cut was to allow for room because the rubber was tight...he redid it for me. looks great. Took me in and did it right away, no waiting in line.

Thanks.
I wonder if your neighbor is a member of the SCC. I just joined last week.

What time did you get there on saturday morning to be the first customer? I'm thinking of going tomorrow morning! How much did you pay? 150?
Thanks!

i'd just go early to be on the safe side.
There is a Target about a mile down the road. The wife and I just walked there and hung out while waiting for the car to be done.

+1 on getting there early.
I got mine done there on a weekday... got there at like 9:10 and the place was almost full. Anything past 10:30 AM is risky.
