Anybody in OC area know how to install CT Short Shifter

I'm getting a CT SS and a maven shift knob and would like to know if anyone in the OC area knows how to dismantle the trim around the shifter and install the SS. I was quoted 50 dollars for the installation and was wondering if anyone can install for less? I would definitely drive to where ever place you want to meet.

there is a DIY thread, only thing I'm scared about is I have a habit of breaking the tabs when pulling out panels. If /when you do this let me know I'm interested in doing this myself along with the slave cylinder mod.

Well, I'm planning to research this extensively and try to do it myself. If I get it through right, I'll post a noob-breakdown DIY
