I need the torque specs for front and rear brake caliper bolts for a 2006 TL.

I have a 2006 Acura TL and I am replacing the brake pads and rotors. I need the torque specs for the caliper bolts front and rear and also the torque specs for the bolts that hold the calipers on when I take off the rotors. Ant help would be appreciated.

Word of caution, I think the service manual recommendation for front brembos is really high. I don't think you should be going over 70 or 80 ft lbs on brembos, but hopefully someone can chime in here.

Brembo is a brake company, most notably known for "performance" brakes. The manual transmissions and Type-S models came with Brembo front brake calipers, but if your car is automatic/base mode then you won't have these.

Thanks for the info, Jimmy!! I have an automatic trans / base model. Will the torque specs be the same as what you sent or was that for the Brembo brakes?

No problem! The first picture is for the fronts. The top half of the page is for the A/T model, which is what you have. I'm not sure exactly which torque specs you need for the front, but I've pasted just the A/T portion here again for your reference.

DO NOT torque to 125 lbf-ft this probably why most brembo has stripped thread since the caliper is made by aluminum. I last torque mine down to 50 lbf-ft and drive the car for 5 years, no issue with the brake, caliper bolt etc... I will be changing new set of rotors soon and I will find out if my thread is stripped or not.
