In response to my exploratory work performed in this thread:

I purchased a few extra seat memory button modules to help out a few soldergun shy members. To make it plug and play easy I simply bought a few TL-S memory buttons, desloder the existing green leds, solder in blue leds, and shipped em off. The TL-S has silver buttons, which is great, as the buyer has the option to use silver or black buttons.

At the end of my foray into this mod and helping evryone that wanted help out, I have 4 modules left over... then I'm done.

Install is a snap. Just remove your door panel, unplug the memo button module, remove 2 screws and remove old memo module, and replace with new one. You have to swap over the bulbs from the old module as well (you can see them in the thread linked above).

Here's what you get:

I would be interested in this mod...Im an aviation electrician in the Navy..but maybe I dont want to hassle with all the work...but I do love soldering.

Any other "places" you are thinking about turning to blue leds?

 

I still have the memo modules, just let me know if you want one. In the first post I linked the thread where I showed one of the modules disassembled. Feel free to do the mod yourself. After showing the pictures in that thread a few folks asked if I'd do one for them, so I setup a few extra's for late comers.

I currently also have one last "Security" flasher led mod, seen below, I could include if you wanted both:

Just got it installed and I have to say I would buy it again just because you can actually see the light in the daytime and its a nice shade of blue.

Still light out but I can tell its going to look nice at night.
