The door actuators were the one puzzle I succumbed to.

 

Replaced the actuator this weekend. All doors now lock and unlock. The code for “implausible signal” from that door hasn’t stayed cleared, but no apparent malfunctions exist.

Next project: fixing the tab that broke off of the door panel. Will need JB Weld and probably a clever way to reinforce it.

yeah i am thinking jb a couple pieces of solid copper wire to the sides of the tab.

 

JB Weld is holding half of my trim pieces in both the Audi / BMW.

 

Project Round and White threw the code for the intake manifold last week. I would tackle it myself if it were summer, but my son really needs it for school and I really need to not spend hours in a cold garage so my awesome mechanic gets his first look at the car this coming Friday.

I did do the door panel repair with JB weld but I had to take it back off to look at something so I left it broken.

 

What car is this thread about again? I keep getting all of them confused.
