i swear it's coming lol. I actually decided today I'm going to go high boost. It's currently at 6lbs on low boost. The high boost pulley will take it to 9lbs which would be around a 20-30 whp gain.

If I didn't already have spoon mirrors which honestly look very similar to those I'd be all over those.

Love what you've done with the car, but I miss your old look with the WW front and sides. That was super clean imo.

I read that the new lip is pretty fragile compared to the indestructible WW one. Do you have to be more careful driving around with it?

He's been posting a bit more on the FB NSX owner's group, but not about how the SC is going. I'll ping him and find out.

I bid on those Carbon 6 side mirrors at NSXPO 2017. I could have won them. They would have gone well with my Kaiser Silver. The Carbon 6 car was awesome in person. I made some video coverage of it but never posted it. This post serves as my kick in the ass to get it done.

thanks, i like my newer look much better. the ww were nice but its a super common lip kit in the nsx community. my new front lip is fiberglass but having my air cups helps a lot.

i haven't posted in a while but here's a few updates. decided to upgrade my front turn signals to leds to match my tails. I sold my wheels, suspension and my bbk. I'm switching to tarox bbk because its much smaller bbk caliper that allows for a much more aggressive setup while still retaining bbk stoppage. my new wheels will be work vs-xx. i took my headlights out to get new upgraded projectors installed. i repainted my front lip, sideskirts and wing and will be clear braing all 4 pieces. i sold my coilovers because ill be upgrading to kw's.

Looking good. Clear braing everything is a great idea. KW coils should be a big improvement over the BCs.

Man smaller brake kit would definitely be nice for fitting more aggressive wheels but don't know if I can do the smaller rotor look.

I plan to clear bra my entire front end also.

The rotor in in the front is still the standard big bbk size. The rear rotor on that kit is slightly smaller but still larger than oem. With this bbk I’ll be able to run a 3” front and 4” rear lip on my new wheels. The calipers are still big but narrow like pen to fit more wheel specs.

it was kind of spur of the moment. I wasn’t fully satisfied with the setup I had and decided to put the car down for a few months and go the route I’d like in the long run.

my high boost kit came in today for my supercharger. it bumps it up to 9psi. from what I've read it should be another 30-40whp.

In some ways I'd love to make my S2000 faster...but I don't want to mess with reliability...maybe low boost turbo, that's what I was told goes best with it.

ive always been a proponent for comptech superchargers. I had one on my CL and now my NSX because they’re plug and play and I’ve never had any reliability issues.

or you can go balls out with your setup lol. But at the end of the day I’ve seen some crazy setups that were reliable. It comes down to quality of parts, proper installation and correct tuning.

With an S2k, I'd probably slap a Vortech supercharger on it with some mild mods. It'll still keep the powerband peaky, so it's unlikely to upset the chassis like a turbo would once boost kicks in.

Does the tune for the Comptech Charger lower the redline at all?

i agree that’s why I’ve always liked superchsrgers more.

The esm that comes with the kit that wires into the ecu comes everything the same as before, you’re just pushing more ho and torque.

Well that gets rid of one of my fears of that kit. The TSX kit lowered the redline about 500rpms. I love the high redline of the NSX and don't want to lower it at all. Just have to decide if I want a third supercharged car or keep one NA for once.

i rode in a friends supercharged nsx a few years ago, after that I knew I couldn’t stay NA. It made me realize how much it was lacking in power.

Im typing on my phone so don’t mind the typos lol.

Have you guys considered a hayabusa swap?
They rev pretty high.

Thanks for that info, Diddy...
I doubt I'll get the nuts for it but instead of seeking another fast car, I'm thinking that making my weekend car fast would be a good move maybe.

lol no I haven’t. But people are doing K and J swaps to the nsx now. There’s a guy that did a 1000hp k-swap to his. I’m not a purist by any means but I want to keep my C series.

I find it pretty quick as long as you stay at 4.5k or above.
