Are the new wheels finished yet?

Amazing amount of work you've done on that NSX but am I the only one that would be perfectly satisfied with the performance of a stock NSX??? I mean, if I had one of the late-model ones with the fixed headlights I wouldn't even want to change the wheels on it. Perhaps modernize the interior a bit with a touchscreen interface or something, but other than that I'd be totally fine with the NSX just as it is!

I will hold onto my NA NSX for a while. Until I ride in one like Bob and then all will probably be out the door. Maybe Bob will get his installed before NSXPO and it will be his I ride in Get that thing installed already.

That's how I felt until I got a ride in a supercharged NSX. Now I'm gathering parts. Build thread to (eventually) come. (now diddy's going to laugh at me, I've been planning an install forever at this point). PS I've been gathering parts for ten months now, LOL. Plan is for SC with meth/water cooling. Luckily, a Comptech SC is essentially a bolt-on install.
The same happened to me just like Bob. I rode in a friends supercharged nsx then drove mine home. It was during that drive home I knew I had to get one. They should have come from factory with them.

So your saying then don't ride in a supercharged NSX until I have 10k burning a hole in my pocket

But yeah, basically. CTSC at low boost is low enough risk that Acura dealers were installing them back in the day. Yeah, it's not like a turbo NSX, but with a CTSC, you can keep up with a Ferrari 360 or other early 2000's supercar. Further, you don't have to worry (as much) about blowing up your very rare C30 or C32 engine.

I got my new coilovers and cups installed. I had to order different size cups since I switched coils and also had to get my system rewired. there was much to be desired from the way the first guy wired everything up.

my brand new rears finally came in, work vs-xx and I got a projector (Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 projectors) upgrade done to my headlights. I finally got my lights back, I only got the low beam projectors replaced since I barely ever use my highs I left those oem. the nsx comes with oem projectors but they're pretty old and outdated tech so even with my hid kit they were no match for the headlight tech out now. from what I've seen on other nsx owners cars that have gotten this mod its a world of a difference on the light output going from a 1995 projector to a 2019 projector. they also replaced the fluted glass housing and replaced it with clear polycarbonate composition on the headlight housing. the wheels are actually getting taken apart next week to have the bolts and lips chromed. polished lips is just way too much upkeep I don't want to bother with. chrome is so much easier to keep clean.

It is still to be seen if the market is going to do but I thought by now it would drop back down a bit but it really hasn't yet so wondering if it might not.

Bummer on it selling so quickly.
Understandable about not being able to take both kids but you could take 1 of them with you I want a kid so I can share my car hobby with them so I understand your desire to do the same.

yea, that's what i've been monitoring, back in 2015 we were looking pretty heavy, and took a break, came back and prices had skyrocketed. Additionally, the biggest factor holding me back is that it's limited to 2 seats. I legit don't get in a car of mine without kids (wouldn't have it any other way)...it's the main reason I bought the turbo instead of a viper. That said, i could fit an NSX on a lift in the garage above the impala (still park the turbo outside).

lol, for me they do, but i hear ya. I've basically got the kids with me all the time, it's rare i can leave with just one of them. but i also wouldn't have it any other way. The turbo right now has 3 car seats in it...and the roof rack has a stroller, 2 skateboards, 2 scooters, and my daughters "motorcycle"

Garage Kite Wider Fenders
its been a while but I ordered some garage kite wider fenders. 20mm fronts and 25mm rears. the best part about them is that they delete the side markers on the quarter panels and relocates the side markers to the rear of the fender in the front. ill also be using s2k side markers for them now.

I don't think I would need more than like 15mm to run a more aggresive TE37 offset so I can ahve 235 tires up front. All I am really after. Hate the max size upfront is only 215 right now.

Can't wait to see it all buttoned up. What is your planned tire size up front? I see the wheels are 8.5 so imagine either 235 or 245.

My wheels are pretty aggressive so I’ll probably run a 225 in the front and a 275 in the rear. They way I’ll be able to run the least amount of camber possible. With these fenders alone I should be able to correct my camber by a full degree.

Oh that will be nice to remove a full degree. That is my desire to only run around 2.5 front and 1.5 rear camber with a 235/275 setup. Stock rear fenders and wide fronts.
