Hey Ryan, really nice car! I was just wondering what resonator did you use to replace the resonator on the EndlessRPM exhaust? I also have the J-pipe and catback but I find the drone way too annoying. Did it also reduce the drone but still produce a nice tone when you get up in the RPMs?

Thanks! I went with the Magnaflow 12640 6inch resonator. It's a big boy for sure but it toned down the drone enough for me. It still sounds really good IMO especially when you get on it. The only downside to it I would say is the physical size of it if you're concerned about going super low.
I finally had some free time so I decided to repaint my calipers which I've wanted to do for quite some time now. They came out great IMO and couldn't be happier with the color choice.
Great looking TL! Congrats on the new motorcycle, too.
Thanks!

Thanks! Love it. I have a different resonator on it to help with the drone which did quiet it down a bit though.

Thanks buddy. Yep! Also with high temp clear coat.
Its funny I was looking through the message I sent you back in July of last year about re spraying them lol.
Very nice man, I love it. I have a long way to catch up on mods.
I installed blacked out fog lights when one of mine broke, i think it would look nice on your car, especially since you have blocked out headlights. Just my 2 cents.

Damn, yeah those look great. Are they overlays or is the actual housing smoked?

The housing inside is blacked out. I got them on eBay for 150$ the pair. The only minor issue with them is they are not aligned 100% flush with the bumper as they do not have alignment bolts, anyway thats what the mechanic told me. I'm sure someone handy like you can easily over come that.

One of my DRL's stopped working and my left fog light has been flickering for a while now. I had the stock DRL's in and I didn't think I was going to buy new ones until I saw some new VLEDs from KJ-TLS part out sale. Installed them along with some new LED fog lights from Bruce this weekend. Followed it up with a nice wash/wax. Enjoy!
I figured I'd update my thread as it's been a few months and I've done a couple things. In January, I drained the tranny fluid and put in fresh GM synchromesh again. I replaced the entire shifter housing as I was getting some play and the bushings are known to wear out over time. Finally was able to put the summer tires back on after spring has refused to come here in PA. I found a nail in the one but luckily it didn't go all the way through and pulled out no problem.
This past weekend, I spent about 12 hours doing some paint correction/polishing. Overall, I was able to get mostly all the swirls and light scratches out. There are still some scratches from the previous owner that unfortunately will never come out but I think it turned out great. The process I went with was strip wash with foam cannon, iron x, clay bar, m105/205, car pro eraser, and finished with jescar powerlock plus sealant. I was going to go with the infamous powerlock/colonite 845 combo but wanted to see how just the sealant holds up. Onto the pics!
looks great and glad to see some updates! i do wolfgang sealant followed by collinite 845 and i love it! the sealant is of course the key part, but i feel the wax adds a little more depth/gloss.

thanks man. I've heard good things about the wolfgang sealant though.Yeah, kinda wish I added it this time to see it really pop. I'm probably going to do a maintenance wash soon and follow up with 845.
Outstanding!!!! Looks great, no overkill, subtle yet aggressive mods to an already beautiful car, and you stuck with Acura for the wheel upgrade. Exactly what I would do. Congrats, your car looks amazing!
Seeing your paint correction results gets me that much more excited for mine. Car looks amazing. For your fresh gm synchromesh.... How longer after did you change it?

Thanks! Yeah it's quite the process but so satisfying. About 25k miles.
I didn't realize how bad my headlights had gotten until I posted those pics up. Seems like the UV coating JnC put on had started to fail. Hit em with 105/205 and sealed with colonite 845 which has UV protection.
