I would be down for a roll but yeah I just think they're sketchy as well. Just not a part I would ever want to fail. I know with the type 2 ones and proper torquing it's fine but it would still worry me. I don't know, maybe I'm just being paranoid
Don't be afraid of a roll unless there's question about bondo on the fender...
it looks brutal but the fender is very robust and can take a nice amount of pressure to roll it flat.
If you care about any sort of flush with non stretched tires do NOT avoid a roll because the tires will catch the fender. (ask me how i know )
I personally have not had any negative experience with spacers except akata spacers...which cracked and warped after putting them on the S2000 rear and going sideways.
garageline, h&r, ichiba, dmv motorsports (ebay company but great quality) I've had no problems with!
I personally have had rust repair/metal work done to both my rear fenders, plus I just painted the car last year. With my luck, the paint would break and id be stuck re painting the rear quarters. Fk all that
Don't be afraid to roll your fenders. When I had my TL, I found a guy online that advertised rolling fenders for stanced cars. When I got to his house, it was some 16 year old kid that didn't look like he knew what he was doing. I felt a little sketchy about letting him do it, but it came out fine with no paint issues. The risk is well worth the reward once you see how good it looks with spacers installed.
Yeah, i agree on the comments - like Rockstar said, I wouldn't let anyone touch mine, so I bought my own fender rolling tool/heat gun and rolled mines myself. Rolled the fronts flat and did the rears as well, not quite as aggressive, but keep the heat applied and they'll come out fine...best to do it with a friend - someone rolling and someone heating, i did my 4 on my own and have rolled fenders on at least 5 other TL's now and the latter have done with a helper and it makes the process easier. Picture looks good homie.
On the way to Tuner Evolution today, my CEL came on It's the P2251 error which seems to be the upstream rear 02 sensor. What's funny is I replaced the 02 sensors almost exactly at my mileage on my last TL so it must be common.
I can't remember what brand I used last time but does anyone know of any issues with Bosch? I did some searching and got mixed reviews. Any input would be appreciated!
I ended up going with a NTK one which seemed to be a direct replacement for the OEM one. Everything went smoothly and unplugged the battery to reset the CEL.
Hopefully that will resolve the CEL and it's not something else.
sounds good, I know I've heard horror stories around trying to get o2 sensors to break free - even with the sensor socket. ugh - i'm going to be tackling some things here before too long - gear switches, ball joints, compliance bushings, and motor mounts...but I know a guy post up some pictures mang

I had that issue on my old TL and I got lucky, I soaked in seafoam and swapped front/rear and it went away.
Nice man yeah I thought about just doing them both but didn't really feel like buying another one right now.

Yeah I mean it took a bit of elbow grease to initially break it free but not too bad.
Sounds like some good maintenance coming up. I had no idea your TL had so many miles. It looks to be in great shape!

^^yeah, i do a lot of driving for work, so easily racked up 70k+ miles during that 5 years, I try to take care of it - but might be looking to paint it this fall, the wrap i had on it too some paint with it when I pulled it off on the drivers fender, so I might get the whole car resprayed anyway, maybe have the body shop do some widening of the fenders
Shifting update! Finally had some time to install my CT short shifter and Raceseng Slammer shift knob. I can't believe how much of a difference these two products make and how it changes the whole shifting experience. The short shifter took me a couple hours to install but I was taking my time. I had some difficulty removing the shifter bushing and the clip that holds it on. Other than that, everything went smoothly.
As for the shift knob, I cannot say enough good things about it as well as Raceseng as a company. After talking with Dave (sock1), I contacted Raceseng regarding the knob and how it fit with the TL.They just recently developed a new threaded adapter made specifically for the TL so I waited for that. Their customer service is fantastic and located in PA so the shipping was super fast. It took me a while to justify spending so much on the knob but honestly it was worth every penny. Big thanks to Dave (sock1) as well to answering all my questions and concerns!
